So both Sony and Nintendo have created hand held gaming systems, and they have all worked very well. My question is why has Microsoft not yet created a hand held Xbox? I think it would be really sweet if they made one, it would definitely be top of the line and with the games that are out for the Xbox and the 360 I think that a hand held Xbox would have probably the best library of on the go titles out there. Anyone else have an opinion?
Microsoft handhelds have been around for a really long time.
Care to elaborate?

Buy a laptop. Job done.
My theory. The Xbox was intended to be a console remake of what we could play on the PC so why make anything else?
Why do pc gamers always say this? console ports are some of the biggest games out now so where did you get the idea that consoles are playing remakes of what you already had?
Not my point. i own an Xbox 360 and a PC but i feel that paying a console port takes away some of the spirt that comes with PC gaming. PC games are supossed to have loads of controls rather that having different combinations on the control pad.

Also, the reason console games are "some of the biggest games out" is due to the fact that most people would rather buy a console and be done with it, others like myself would rather own a pc which we can then upgrade rather than buying a new console every few year.

I'm as happy as the next person to play a console. Hell i would rather play Oblivion on my Xbox than my PC anyday but i feel that PC games are often better than console (with the exception of the Sims which can suck dick whatever people chose to play it on).

Size will be an issue for this one. The xbox 180 (thanks white_salad) must be small enough to be easy to hold and use, but large enough to accommodate a ring of lights. Guess what their function (or dysfunction) would be.

Since xbox has a reputation of being clunky and heavy, I don't think my wrists could take another MS product.

A handheld with the graphical and multimedia capabilities of the PSP, and the battery life of the Nintendo DS would be awesome, but truth be told, I would still use my DS, since it has an awesome battery life, and I actually kinda like those 16-bit games.
Well, atleast games that have similar graphics to NES and Genesis games.

And they haven't probably released it because Nintendo and Sony do game consoles.
Microsoft does game console and Windows operating system.
All of the companies have 2 projects, Microsoft is just busy with Windows, because it's actually the most popular out of all of these companies' products.
