You want the hardest psp game you got the hardest psp game. patapon is really freaking hard. unless you have the massive patience for endless hunting missions.

i guess killzone liberation is pretty hard too on anything other than easy.

Prinny: Can I Really be the Hero?

That is by far one of the hardest games on the system. There is a damn good reason the game gives you 1000 lives at the beginning. There is ever a hard mode that makes it so you die in one hit instead of 3 like in the standard mode (which is still ball breakingly hard).

Killzone Liberation is pretty tough, especially the god damn bosses which have no gripes about making your life a living hell.

Castlevania Dracula X can offer up a decent challenge as well as it's a remake of one of the old school games pre metroidvania style change.

Anyhting else I can think of is more circumstantial really and depends on what you may define as hard. God Of War on God mode can kick your ass pretty hard, and Monster Hunter can have a fair challenge to it at times too. Oh and lets not forget any fighting game cranked up to it's highest difficulty.

That is correct.
I still have yet to beat Sir Sweet (though I haven't played in a while).
Yea I beat him a while ago and boy was I happy....now I just gotta unlock Asagis story, beat Etna and Pringer X who are supposedly HARDER than Sir Sweet.

And I still haven't beat the DLC level Asagi Comes Home. THat level is one of the hardest stages I have ever played, seriously youtube it; it's fucking ridiculous.

Gotta finish all that crap before Prinny 2 hits the west, can't wait for more self inflicted torture XD

This honour belongs to the Monster Hunter series. Even with friends in tow this game is designed to stretch your abilities all the way to the end.

Killzone liberation, not because of the design because of the bad controls
Wha? bullshit. That game had perfectly fine controls, and no amount of changes would make the game any less difficult. Some of those bosses were an absolute nightmare. Damn controls were so damn simple, calling them bad is a down right lie.

Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?

That game gives you 1000 lives. Sounds like a lot? Its about 9000 lives too few.

Yeah I was thinking this too. I got it on sale off PSN, played a few levels, and never came back to it because the controls stunk so much.

Same thing for Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops, although I did get a bit farther in that. I got to some boss who likes to go and freeze the entire battlefield and couldn't get past him because the controls were on his side.

Basically any PSP game that's a spin-off of a PS2 title is going to be hard because the controls are your enemy. Either of the GTA games, the previously mentioned Portable Ops... There are probably more but I gave up on those kinds of games on PSP. Either port that shit to PS2 (where it should have been in the first place) or don't bother.

Nope, not really. Those controls were a mess. They're so bad that I had to replay all the tutorial missions just to remember how the hell they mapped everything, and then still gave up because it was just ridiculous.

Again, total bullshit. I have no Idea how you managed to forget such a simplistic control scheme. How you managed to not remember them is beyond me and is hardly a fault of the game. I've played the damn thing plenty of times and after 5 friggen minutes on my first time I was already accustomed to them. I didn't know shoot, strafe, roll, and grenade were such difficult things to remember when they were all mapped to simple buttons. Now vehicle controls I will admit were a little iffy, but that's the extent of how bad that game got.

I wish the PSP had more isometric shooters like that, they work damn well.

While this is true, I think we can agree that the shite controls play a role in this game as well. Specifically THE CLAW.

I thought I was the only one who thought this game was hard. I picked it up as a distraction while on vacation. It looked like a little kid's game and was on sale, what could be the harm? Next it was 3AM (when else? :) ) and I was still playing that stupid game. Just can't get my archers or whatever they are up to level worth a damn - need to hunt more of course.

PON PON PATTA PON! PON PON OATTA PON! PATA PATAA PATTA PON!
That game gave me fuckin nightmares. i mean, the grinding is always a nuisance, but they didn't give you the retreat option till after the boss that eats all your guys, and quite frankly, the whole "beat control" system kicked my ass. I can't keep rhythm worth crap.
I hear teh new Patapons are better, but I don't plan on finding out.

Um hardest game? Proly the new Disgaea that came out recently for it. The seriees "Prinny can I really be the hero?" is based off of. Yes PcIrbth? is a very very veryyyyyyy hard game, especially on its hard mode(durr). But at least you can beat that without having to work out goddamned game algorithms. If you want to completely beat Disgaea, then you need to be a genius mathematician.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Hardest game I have ever played. Weapons are easy to master, monsters are a ***** to kill. It takes awhile to master knowing what a monster will do next, and when you should dodge, run like hell, and attack. Took me 3 months to beat the damned Green Plesioth. Fucking fish. >.<
