Dudes, [ spoiler ][ /spoiler ] without spaces.

Anyway, the only time I feel sad involving games is when I'm having withdrawals after a good RPG. Hell, a I felt like that after Paper Mario: TTYD.

Take my man card.

I cried at the end of Final Fantasy X but that was quite a few years ago when i was younger. I almost cried at Red Dead Redemptions ending but i did get emotional. Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 got me almost to cry at certain points.

Mass Effect 2 didn't make me cry but it did actually make me feel probably because of how good ME1 was and how great a job they did carrying over the story.

I'm going to have to go with Crusader Bridenbrad [http://www.wowwiki.com/Crusader_Bridenbrad] and the related quest chain.
Due mostly to the allegorical use of the Plague of undeath as a fantasy stand-in for cancer, and the fact that it was all intentional as a digital tribute to the brother of Blizzard's VP of Online Technology. Given my own personal involvement, I supposed the whole thing carries a much stronger punch for me, but I believe I'm not the only one [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6wV76tOM3U&fmt=18]

I think I shed a few tears when I saw how much Super Paper Mario raped that series.

Never have cried, but almost did during parts of FFX (parts in the middle, mostly involving Yuna because she reminded me of an old friend I had) and a few parts in FFVII (the obvious one, and the part about Red XIII's father), but the worst was the ending of Crisis Core.

In terms of games that envoked unexpected emotion, I never thought Dead Space would make me sad, but watching Issac Clarke, one of my favorite video game characters ever, hold his face in utter depressed sadness after figuring out what really happened to his girlfriend.

But, if you want to know my #1 place on the sadness list?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxV8j2m8HSk

If you've been playing all through the game and trying hard to ignore the awful gameplay and focus on the wonderful and depressing story, then around 3:00 your feel extremely shocked, then extremely saddened by the truth. 3:50 is one of the few moments I have ever known where something is so horrifying yet so saddening that you just stare at the screen slackjawed. 4:07 is about when I broke down.

I've never cried but the first time I saw aeriths death whilst playing ff7 I could feel the tears getting ready, it was at that point the closest i'd come to crying in about 5 years.

I cried at the end of Okami. More from happiness than sadness, though. It was so awesome.

I cried from sadness at Red Dead Redemption. I don't think I need to explain any more.

Yes.
Very end of Final Fantasy XIII.

I lost so many man points that day...
In my defence, it was only a couple of tears just snuck their way out. I didn't bawl like a baby who's teddy's head just fell off or anything like that.
Me too on the shot of
Vanille and Fang turned into crystal.

Was the first time I did on a videogame, probably because it actually looks super realistic, unlike what you're used to.

I don't think I've bawled or anything, but I've gotten emotional several times.

- When Dom finds his wife. I didn't think that was going to bother me at first, but imagining myself in the same position, that's some hard stuff.
- MGS3 ending. Sad story + narrator crying + Snake crying = me choking back man-tears.
- Lost Odyssey, end of disk 1. You know what I'm talking about. It's like MGS3 only worse. REALLY sad story, EVERYONE crying, it's just ridiculous.

Hmm. Never cried, but I have felt sad a couple of times. Like with the "bad" ending of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World, even if I absolutely HATED Emil (more like over-glorified "GAME OVER" screen).

Although, I've been pretty freaking close from rage (Final boss of Custom Robo on the Gamecube anyone?)
