I've been close to it, not sure if I've actually been weeping. Maybe a tear and pent up emotion, Metal Gear Solid has stirred some emotions and there have been other instances. Books stimulate more raw emotion as a whole I've found, probably the deeper long term in depth connection I make with the characters.

At the end of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Metal Gear Solid 3. I almost cried at the end of Red Dead Redemption and Bioshock 2.

End of COD 4 for sure. That was a tear-jearker, especially compared to the later games in the series *Oy vei*.
It's the only one I can think of right now... OH! When my rank 10 Peasant Battalion finally got smooshed in Battle for Middle Earth. I was heart broken for days :'(
Does crying in laughter or frustration count? I have few more for those...

Most Tales of games have made me teary eyed at some point except for Vesperia. I found almost all those characters to be unlikable

Bioshock 2, from its sheer Anathemic quality. Part 1? Kind of.
Not really tears falling, more welling for both.

I've never actually cried from a videogame but the following games off the top of my head made me come close to doing so:
Bioshock good ending (so ungodly touching...)

HL2: Episode 2 ending (I literally reached my hand out and said, "no")

Braid ending (once I figured out what it was about, it was so tragic)

Some minor sidequest in ME2, I don't even remember.

Earthbound ending (nuff said)

SH2 Ending (I think I got the "normal" ending, but whatever I saw was incredibly emotional)

No, never.

But then, I tend to either get really emotional about a very few select things, or completely am impassive - I may just not have found a game that gets to me yet.

Actually, I don't think that I've ever cried, but I've felt all the other range of emotions.

In Fable 2, when I had to choose to save people or my dog, it wasn't even a difficult decision. I was so bitter towards them, I did almost feel like crying.

Ahhh, actually though, I'm surprised. I was sure I cried a lot during videogames. But... I guess not.

I am a man. I do not cry.
(Ok so once or twice during really dramatic scenes that I cannot think of at the moment.)

Games have made me have nightmares, but never made me cry. Its a bit hard to see real emotion in games, I need to see their emotion before I can relate and therefor cry. Though Final Fantasy X, though I have not played it, might have.

I've never cried, but at the end of RDR I felt like I could cry. I just find it impossible to cry at any form of media.

Castlevania: lament of innocence, when *SPOILER*!!! Leon killed Sarah to make the Vampire Killer. God that was tragic

and after Terranigma for SNES, for being such a great game.

When I was going through puberty maybe. I remember the end to Soul Blazer bringing a tear to my eye.
Recently I've come close with things like New Vegas but that was because I really wanted to play the game and it would not work properly.

I believe that video games can make a story where the player gets so emotionally invested that they make that connection but whenever they try, they try way too hard. For examples please see any recent R* or Bioware games. They really lay it on thick and ends up making what would be an emotional impact an absurd and pretentious display.

Lots of them. Last one to do it: Dragon Age Origins good ending (starring one of my original characters which really brought the game even more to life), complete with the love-interest addition. *sniffle!!!*
Now that you mention it... I think I did cry in that bit. At first I was just shocked, like: WHAT THE HELL, I WAS SUPPOSED TO DIE. I was so mad, because I'd made up my mind in that playthrough to do it that way. I was all prepared and then Alistair was all: I love you, I can't live without you so I'll kill him. :3.
It was so... infuriating, and upsetting. I'm pretty sure I did cry a little then.

-EDIT-
Though I do agree with GonzoGamer a bit there. UGH, why to start the relationship off in Bioware games do I have to say such RIDICULOUS things? It's always bothered me really.

The ending of RDR's main story. But more tears of anger than anything else. It was inevitable, that was obvious, but I was actually genuinely angry at the antagonists of that section.

Only once. I've been gaming for years now and only once. I've cried hundreds of times over movies, books and songs but only once for gaming.

It was Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, during the "Farewell is Goodbye" scene. I had to put down the controller and have a serious, serious cry.

The end of Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse.

God, award for "game least expected to have a sad moment"

EDIT: Oh, and cave story, I don't know why, I just got sad when I found the main character was a
robot
