Have you ever bought a game on the advice of Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw

I've not bought one on his advice, but more the other way around. There's been some games that have looked awesome and he's just listed things wrong with them. Sure enough, friends bought the games and confirmed how bad they were.

no, I don't really see him as a reviewer, I see him as more of a guy that makes jokes about games.

I haven't really bought a game recently, so no, but I do take his opinion into consideration when I am looking for a game. I did, however, rent Dante's Inferno a while ago, and had fun with it.

I got Prototype based on his review since I thought it would be good. Honestly, I was let down. I really didn't like it, but I did like Infamous.

Batman Arkham Asylum. I thought the game sucked based off the demo and decided to just go on a gamble and buy it based on what he said. Turned out pretty good, but I normally don't listen to his actual review part because it's mostly just for humor.

Just one- No More Heroes. Shame I hear the sequel didn't really improve on any of its flaws, but a good game overall.

I rented Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood (because I was only interested in the campaign.) I must say I enjoyed it.
