Elfen Lied, not counting the last minute or so because that was just a pathetic attempt at a cliffhanger.....actually that made me cry to because of the pathetic sadness . Ok as far as the actual sad part goes, it just made me so sad! Nothing has ever made me as sad before.

Than FMA, second saddest work of fiction I've ever watched, didn't make me cry though.

One of the few things that have really moved me is fullmetal alchemist!!! and several times as it is.... too many just amazing characters!!! WHY DID HUGHES HAVE TO DIE!!!
WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SPOILER PEOPLE!!!

Actually, the thing that made me sadest was
Ed being teleported permenently into the real world, that just seems a lot worse than death to me
I wouldnt say sad, disturbing maybe, the little girl thing was frelled up even by Japans standards. However Ill argue with the guy Im quoting here :) I dont think ti was the real world AFAIK the Germans didnt use zeppelins, which suggests an alternate world which to me suggests an other series or something but ... nah probably best to leave it as is. Crazy mad mixed up anime. Highly recommended viewing.
I would say sad.

Weren't they in Germany being attacked by someone else? Whatever, it makes no difference.

Felidae by Akif Pirinçci (Actually it was the sequel), in which the main character, who happens to be a cat,
dies and is then transported through a disgustingly sentimental chapter after his death, in order to find that he actually survived and had really been dreaming!
I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Also, The Wish List by Eoin Colfer

Haven't cried at the end of a lot of stuff, but the end of 1984, the book and the movie, had me shedding a tear or two.

I've cried bloody tears of manly rage over the end of the wing commander series. I remember saying, like my girlfriend has said to me on many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many occasions: "That's it?!??"

Sad crying is for children and womans. And Jeebus.

Like I said - break a few bones and make me use them, and I'll probably cry.
If aliens invade and World Slavery begins, we might actually see you cry...

Doubtful.
I'd be working with them.
Damn it. Where are they from? Maybe I have a friend on the Escapist who will work with them and help me too!

I cry at nearly everything sad on films and in books

I was close at the end of Band of Brothers though.
I did here, and in the middle of The Lovely Bones.

I also refuse to watch that episode of Futurama where

Fry finds his dog Seymour, but says hat he had a full life, when in fact he just waited and waited until he died.

Click! got me a couple of times during the movie, but not at the ending. Green Mile, is not easy to watch either.

Me too, that's the saddest film I've ever seen. The saddest book I've ever read is the Green Mile. At the end...
When John Coffey is talking to Edgecombe in his cell before the execution.
