COD 6: Riot Shield+Throwing Knives with a machine pistol sidearm.

That's apparently a Noob tactic. I call it a guarenteed 5 kill streak ;)

I exhisted withing the confines of a FPS multiplayer match. I was both a n00b and a modder and didn't get a single kill.

There are no noob-tactics. That's just the oppinion of stupid people trying to justify why they lost.

Take SC2, Cannon rushing? If you don't scout you have only yourself to blame.
Wall of Mutalisks? You left your opponent alone for too long, your own fault.
etc...

Sure have. I don't do it often because it's, quite frankly, beyond boring but I have sat full screen throwing fireballs in numerous fighting games. Of course, if you actually lose to that sort of play then what you really need to be asking yourself is who the real n00b is.

I've been called a noob for helping out my teammates in L4D
Oh, yes! There was a thread recently about being called hacker or noob. And I couldn't come up with an incident where I was called the latter. But, yeah, this ^ WTF is wrong with people...
OT: there is a certain spot in a certain CoDblops map which has to be the best campground in the whole freaking game. I discovered it by wondering how that one guy was able to rack up this impressive amount of kills while retaining an equally impressive k/d ratio so I watched the game afterwards... Now I make use of it every now and then :)

Yeah I noob-tubed whenever I saw a large amount of people using it in MW1 and 2.

I don't care if they call me newb. If it works, it works. So long as you don't bug exploit or the like who cares?

N00b for using hammerburst in Gears 2 online, when the guy was trying to rush me with the shotgun. No way in hell I was letting that guy near me.

I've camped when I had very low ammo on Search & Dearch before. Oh, and I've used the grenade launcher before. That's basically it.

Black Ops was my first Call of Duty game, so I used the noob-tube like no tomorrow to compensate for my lack of skill. But it was fun.

I was once called a n00b for betrayal booting a guy who immediately picked up the sniper rifle and team-killed me in Halo.

In League of Legends I have been called a noob for:

-Ambushing and turning a 2v2 into a 3v2
-Playing a character by stacking Health
-Playing the same character and stacking Attack Speed
-Playing the same character again and using an all around build
-Using a character that has been termed "Flavor of the Month" even though I've been using the character since it came out
-Using a character that others rarely use (and winning)
-For helping out my team
-For not helping out my team
-For not wanting the physical carry to have the caster buff

Basically in LoL or any other DoTA clone you will be called a Noob for anything.

If I end up dying a lot on TF2 despite generally good tactics I tend to rage heavy. Though this usually stops cause I'm not the best heavy player.

"n00b tactics" are really just someone else justifying their own death. I ignore being called on such bullshit.

Who doesn't like to rage as Heavy from time to time?

I am very much of the school of gentleman's gaming. Stuff like the grenade launcher in MW2 has no business when you are playing with friends locally. Same for the old AWP in CS one shot kills to the foot are just silly. Same goes for just straight up camping in an objective match (when not camping THE objective).

To me flat out killing the people doing such (in usually the most humorous ways possible) is much more fun than trying to emulate them for such actions.

Yeah, 6pooling in Starcraft 2, to my credit I never photon rushed or bunker rushed anyone. (OK I tried a photon rush one time long ago but the other guy got me first so it's okay.)

I think I'm the only person in the world that attacks the teleporter entrance.
Taking the tele entrance of the enemy team as a Spy is a great way to go unnoticed in enemy territory, for some reason people assume that if you have that particle trail you aren't a Spy, I guess because not a lot of Spies use that tactic. It's also a good way to get right behind Engie turtles and possible telefrag them. A highly underused tactic IMO.

OP: Nope not really. If I consider something noobish I don't use it, the DR/Saharan Spy in TF2 for instance, even awful Spies can get a few kills with that set up.

It most fighting games, I will admit to being a noob spammer.

I wouldn't do it if it didn't work at least 70% of the time.
