Wow, it's really nice to see how many people don't have the grace or good manners to just fucking welcome the guy back. It's really not difficult, and it seems to me pretty basic etiquette not to be a complete tit to others just for the sake of making oneself look big/clever. There is nothing particularly narcissistic about this thread, or at least no more so than any other thread begun by someone who thinks that what they have to say is interesting enough that everyone else will want to read it (ie. every thread ever bloody created)

Anyway - OP: Hello, fellow, I don't know who you are, but welcome back, and good on you for the volunteer work. Can't tell you much about how the place has changed since I've been here (not very long), because most people on this site irritate me so much that I rarely come on here anymore. But hi

I remember Nuke Lassic's not being a contributor to this great site, and being merely one of us normal posters.
But I'll be damned if wasn't one of the best posters here
I also remember stealing the way he emboldens peoples name from him

On the subject of the community, I can't say whether anything has really changed, as I haven't been around for long, but many are banned, some are still kicking, some are better than ever. Mostly, it's been the same.

Wait, when was Mobius banned? I've been away for a little while since I just moved back home after university ended for summer, so I'm not really up to date on a lot of stuff. What happened?

However, to the OP, things are pretty much the same as usual, though since I haven't been here for a year exactly I don't know how things were before December 2008, but in that time very little's changed. You missed the great 4chan raid that we all foiled a few months ago though, and the troll attack by Nanissimov and some other dude last month though. They were worth being here for...

Well, after being just a general dick to a lot of people, he suggested calling people who do stupid things "Christians", which is the straw that broke the camel's back according to the mods.
