Because people watch that show,I don't personally but some people do. Then again when you have a TV set to that show and barely pay attention to it,THEN HAVE PONIES IN YOUR DAMN HEAD you have to wonder "What the fuck?" Heh, yeah I heard that there was a TV show about it and it's becoming really popular with people mostly due to it being "well written, good animation and not just for the children" and all that, only problem Im going to have with it is for the fact that their ponies. x3 And creepy looking ones at that, looking through the pictures that are on here either a lot of mind control goes on in that show or their all on something. XD

As for my advice, just get used to the fact that everyone here is very opinionated and cynical. So don't feel bad if you bring up a game/movie/book/whatever that you really like and people attack it. We're not trying to be rude it's just how we are.

Hiya nice to meet you OP. I'm glad you've taken interest in the Escapist, and the two shows of Zero Punctuation and Extra Credits. But in all seriousness go and give the other guys some love. Like Loading, Ready, Run!, Moviebob's stuff, the two web comics Critical Miss and Name Game, and the articles which offer great insight into the world of gaming and electronic media. In other words why sample just the appetizers when you can have a buffet? Too many people come here just to drool over Yahtzee's videos, and while he's a great entertainer, he isn't all there is to this site.
Also, don't be afraid to voice and defend your opinion. Even though these forums are well kept by our overlords the Mods, they still miss a few rather harsh haters and trolls occasionally. So to save yourself and others a headache just try to be as open-minded and considerate as you can, and make sure to respect that everyone has their own opinion. (I'm talking to you pony haters and lovers alike.)
Also, we're quite serious about the basement. I've heard that there were a few curious members who went down there and never came back!
But in all respects, take your shoes off, leave your jacket by the door and jump on in, the water's great! ^_^ And if there's anything you need help with, don't be afraid to ask. We're a helpful bunch, uh, most of the time. :3
