It's a resource management game. In order to build things, you need to acquire materials and acquiring those materials is not always easy. Any ninny can mine the earth to uncover every block to find all the ore possible, but real men spelunk in cave systems where you have to use problem-solving skills to figure out how to get down a steep drop-off or reach a bit of diamond suspended over lava.rod_hynes said:I have never been one for creating my own games anyway, I never built my own level in LBP or designed my own campaign in any of the Civ games, but all of those games at least had a game at the core, but MC doesn't as far as I can tell, yet its being put on such a pedistle, why? creativity? They are making you guys do all the work? Keeping the fact that its an INDI company, I say again... I DON"T GET IT.
Also, you must manage a limited inventory, the materials you have acquired and most of all, time. You could spend the rest of your life digging up iron ore and never build that mine cart system. Or you could half build it until you run out of iron and then the monsters come out.
