I actually really like those names. Miko and Yanna can be added to this list too (male and female respectively).
I want to call my son (if I ever have one) Jax. Got it from the Coruscant Nights series. Jax Pavan - Jedi Knight who survived the Great Jedi Purge.

I like to name pets after famous animals in literature of a somewhat "similar" species.
Lizard ---> Dragon.

So name it after some awesome literary dragon! Smaug from "The Hobbit" comes to mind, "Draco," after the constellation of the dragon, Fafnir, from Norse mythology... do a quick google search, there are thousands.
