I built my PC about 2 months ago. I got a lot of help from a couple of my friends who are really into computer stuff and know their builds and blah. I am not that guy, I know very littler about computers, and almost everything I do know is how to operate them, not how to fix/maintain/build them. Which brings me to the issue at hand. My computer keeps freezing whenever it gets jostled. I live in and old house, and just walking kinda fast in my room or in the kitchen(right next to my room) can freeze it. Sitting down heavily or bumping the leg of my desk when I pull my chair in is almost guaranteed to freeze it. I've noticed two things that make it worse. It's far more likely to do this in the first 20 minutes or so after I start or restart the computer. It's also more likely to do this if I'm playing a video game, even a low intensity one like LoL, but it gets better if I turn the settings down.
So, does anyone know what the heck is causing this? I know that a lot of you build computers and know a lot about this sort of thing, I'm also thinking that maybe one of you has experienced similar problems. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and help me out.
Tl;Dr, my computer is freezing a lot, but I'm pretty sure it was correctly built with compatible parts.
