Disregarding games that aren't out yet, I'd most likely buy Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. I've rented it and found it far too big to finish in all of 3 days, and it's entertaining enough to warrant a purchase. The smooth voice of Patrick Stewart is an added bonus.

I choose the latter. Getting the "latest games" has never been a priority for me.

Since I already bought Fable 2 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (trade-ins help so much), I'd either get The Sims 3 on 360, or put $30 on Dead Space 2 and use the rest to get Hydrophobia and Undead Nightmare on XBLA.
