So many heroes heroes with style.
Whether it's wearing a suit like James Bond (James Bond), Trilby (5 Days a Stranger), The Doctor (Doctor Who).
Or just having a cool way of doing things like V (V for Vendetta), the Joker (Batman).

What are some of your favorite heroes with style and what about them makes them so cool?

Nathan Drake. He just looks effortlessly cool, whether hes dicking about on an island, or in an unexplored forest. Never a hair out of place, never an unsightly bullet hole in his clothes.

Teresa Of The Faint Smile:

I've read a lot of books, watched a lot of films, and now watched a lot of anime - and I have never seen something quite as badass as her.

I can't really explain precisely why without sounding like a total fanboy, so I'll just (Spoiler Alert)link this [http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Knights_of_Hay_Teresa] and tell you to watch Claymore [http://www.watchanimeon.com/claymore-episode-1-2/] if you want a new idol.

[sub]Click the second link if you have a while to spare and are open the the possibility of some pixels making Duke Nukem look a bit sissy.[/sub]

Yes, I most certainly do win, I don't give a damn who you've got, it's some old man in some sort of disgusting outfit, it is disturbing, not awesome.

Wait, you don't mean Sean Connery? He sunk that low? No, I think that was shopped... unless it was in a Bond movie that I haven't seen and don't care to.
yes, that's Sean Connery in one of his earliest movies, Zardoz

a mindfuck of a movie, but very unique, like, recommendable to check out

I must disagree. This man has much more style. Just look at how those colors complement the scarf.

I assume by sunk that low you mean rose that high.

Oh, and it is real, very real.

you win on account of the fact yours is not fictitious.

I agree, but I still prefer a suit and a trench coat ;)

Let's just say we are both right as it is still the same character :p

There are tons of anime characters, both male and female, that have big swords and can move and kill quickly that also undress often.

Actually, I've only seen the first episode of Claymore, so I'm just assuming that all of them are like the girl from that one. I didn't really like it much, it looked like Sailor Moon and Inuyasha had a baby...

Anyway, as far as female anime badasses go I'd say that Lucy has 'em all beat. Sure, her show isn't amazingly well done, and sure, she spends half of it in a braindead stupor, but she spends the first ten minutes ripping men into bloody messes and doesn't get shot until the end, and that's by a guy from far away with a big-as-hell sniper rifle that doesn't even kill her. Oh, and proceeds to do the same to a few other characters as well. You'd have to be lucky to shoot her, from far away with a very high-powered gun, you can't get close enough to stab her, how else would you kill her unless you were Alma Wade, who seems to have pretty much the same abilities?

...actually, there are a lot of comparisons there...
I've seen EL as well, and I don't think Lucy is quite as badass - she's up there, but not with the medal.

But, just to respond to your post, you saw the first episode, never saw Teresa (who never appears until later), make a comment about how they undress (which is never played for fanservice, and happens maybe twice (if twice)) - and assume you are well briefed enough to dismiss it.

...Well, fair enough I suppose - I just can't help thinking something's wrong...

Give it another look, it's worth it, especially if you liked EL.

Well actually he never said that. He said that "We always explored [all the available options]. Failure was never one of them." Ron Howard's publicity department and scriptwriters turned that into one of the phrases in the movie Apollo 13. Kranz liked it so much he used it as the title of his Autobiography.
