Just play a horror game with every light around you off and headphones in your ears. That'll get you immersed pretty easily.
You should really put that in OP2wenty6ix said:i only have a playstation 2 by the way
I would play something like Persona 3 or 4 and pretend your the main hero(like i do). Or the .Hack games are pretty fun also.2wenty6ix said:i only have a playstation 2 by the way
Condemned Criminal Origins will draw you in and have you sleeping with the lights on for days after finishing it. The House at the end is the scariest bits in a game I've ever played.2wenty6ix said:I've been noticing that i have a hard time being immersed in games, ill buy new games and then become bored with them after an hour or two. There are very few titles that have entranced me enough to warrant a full playthrough, like the Half-Life series, but my favorite game so far would be Resident Evil 4, this is the only game i have ever bought that i have ever beaten all the way through four times. Could you give me any suggestions on what games i might like from the survival horror genre, or any tips on how to become more immersed in games.
Don't be so absurd, this is a forum which means I can contribute even if I repeat someone else's opinion.delta4062 said:Read others posts before you post.

These are not Survival Horror games and you don't give any tips for improving immersion.delta4062 said:"God Of War games, The Jak games were also quite awesome, Devil May Cry, Canis Canem Edit, Xmen Legends, Prince Of Persia, Grand Theft Auto, Shadow Of The Fucking Colossus!"
Easy. Buy Okami!! It is a fantastic game set in a beautiful world with a great epic story!2wenty6ix said:i only have a playstation 2 by the way
...not really, try a different genre.do you want something with a long life?a short but immersing life?2wenty6ix said:ive already tried the metal gear solid series and im not a big fan, is there any other really good survival horror series other than Resident Evil and Silent Hill?
so you already played RE and SH or you dont want to play them). if you want to play a good survival horror game but dont want to play these two then you dont want to play the genre at all. There's also fatal frame wich is scarier but it is slower.2wenty6ix said:ive already tried the metal gear solid series and im not a big fan, is there any other really good survival horror series other than Resident Evil and Silent Hill?
Mine shattered when I stood on the seesaw in Minefield wearing 500 kilograms of Powered Armour, but it didn't go down.AkJay said:Fallout 3, that immerses the crap out of me.
Me too but it takes more than a couple of hours before it gets interesting and really immersive.AkJay said:Fallout 3, that immerses the crap out of me.
