Okay, I've been a member for the Escapist for a while and I have one question for you mods, and since I don't know any other way of contacting you and having a chance of you reading it, I'm putting it on the forums.

I have sent you, the mods, many questions on either rules or just some things that I'm curios about. At the end of each letter I send I will say, could you please E-Mail me back at [insert my confidential E-Mail Address here] if you read this and give your opinon/answer/advice. Or to just PM me at Supreme Unleaded at the Escaist. And i never get a reply, i have counted about 12 letter sent asking questions or reveiws that i would like posted on here, and if its not valid any way to make it valid ect.

And guess what, no answer. So Mods, I ask you, does anyone acually read anything sent to you. I wait about a week before I start getting bugged because I could guess you get plenty of email. But out of 12 messages sent I'm starting to wonder, are you reading things or are then send to the trash. I'm just very curios how out of 12 messages I get nothing back.

[sup]please don't banhammer me for asking questions[/sup]

Edit: I do post my reveiw in the user reveiw section first by the way.

Well, as a mear user and not a mod. I understand they must get dozens of messages. So much so that I think that they read them all, but just do not have all the time to answer all of them.

Baby Tea always replies to my messages.
Try him.
That's true. I've PM'd him several times with questions and I've never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response.

If some of your questions are about Guest Reviews I suggest you send your messages and questions to Susan Ardent [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/view/Susan%20Arendt] via the site. Keep in mind that they have writing guidelines and word limits for their guest reviews, so chances are that something that you just want strait up posted probably isn't going to happen, but instead you'd have to rewrite it or write completely from scratch.

Thats weird. Whenever I send the mods a PM they always responds.

I guess it could also be that they're busy.

Don't forget some of the Mods are really busy so may not get a chance to answer your messages, the red guard will probably be your best bet :). I've never asked a mod anything myself personally but they are quite active on the site so i'm sure you can get hold of them eventually :)

Ive sent many E-Mails (not PM's) to the reveiwing e-mail adress. Who's excacly it is I do not know, but in it i will ask if there is anything not valid or any ways for me to make it valid. However i NEVER get a reasponce. And one reason why I started this thread was that I saw the reveiw of Dirt 2 that was about the same quality of mine posted here in the 'news' section. I wrote a reveiw for that and never got a reasponce so that kinda ticked me off.

Try PMing Nilcypher, he's a very reasonable guy if you remember your manners and he's pretty snappy with the responses too.

If I sum up the general responses to the thread, I'd assume pretty much all of the mods tends to reply to messages most of the time.

Also, you have 900+ posts, I think you should know better by that time than to make a thread complaining about how the mods are doing their work here. It tends to be taken the wrong way. Not just by the mods, but also by people that like to use it as an excuse to bash them.

How about you post them in the user review section and get feedback on the quality of your reviews before assuming they are extremely well-written?

I did, and got a reasponce saying all that was wrong with it was that i had some spelling errors, howver the second I put it into Microsft Office Word that fixed it.

So you posted two reviews on the forums but sent 12 to the e-mail address? I would still suggest posting at least 5 on the forums before considering sending them to The Escapist.

Well, there's part of the problem right there. You don't just send them things unsolicited that they haven't already accepted or commissioned/asked for. They'll shoot it down and that'll be the end of it.
