One thing to tell you, and this is because there are people with hundreds of posts that don't know how, is to always quote someone when you reply to them. Why? Quoting is done with the little quote button on the bottom right of the persons post.
Anyway, sorry if I sounded angry or whatever, it's just annoying when people don't quote...
Anyway, others have probably covered the basics, but I would reccomend joining some user groups, found here. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/] If, say, you like a certain band, there may be a group for fans of said band. If not, you can start one.
