I can't believe I didn't see that...
I always make that mistake. In Dutch, there're almost no "ch"'s. It like the fact that the "sch" isn't that prominent in English, except in words like "school" which, coincidentally, is identical to the Dutch word "school".

Dark Cloud 2 was called Dark Chronicle in Europe, not the first one XD

And yes these would be mine they are amazing games that are very unique

Plus Dark Cloud 2's fishing minigame was so much fun.

I never understood the change of titles though. Nevertheless you're right. I can't understand how I got that wrong though since I live in Europe! I remember the fishing, but I never entered the fish weigh tournament though. It seems like such a waste to kill a fish to win a tournament. I always won in the fish races though!

You just brought back a long-lost memory. I could never for the life of me figure out the damned name, only the images of a claymation guy who looked a bit like a chicken, having amusing escapades (it was a demo, but you have brought a sigh of happy recognition to my lordly personage).

I must buy this game.

I didn't mention it because it's far too popular to be considered a hidden gem. Just like Psychonauts, far too many already know about it for it to be considered 'hidden' anymore.

Oh, man. How many hours did I waste merging monsters together just to see what would happen. At least, in Jade Cocoon 1. Jade Cocoon 2 was completely different but just as awesome.
I loved the strategy behind that monster wheel thing in JC2.
