Do you listen to very loud music, mainly through head phones / ear pieces? There is a thing (forget the mane) that if you listen to loud music for long enough you will hear a buzzing noise like you described.
It could be that or you are just focusing on a noise that no one else it. Make you mind get busy with something else nad you should just forget about it, unless it is really loud. I get it sometimes when I play a little bit too much computer, take a break see if that helps and go drink some water.
I had about a 30 minutes walk to my dads and i listened to my ipod, nearlly full volume... That might be it. But when i put hands over my ears i can't hear it anymore? It's really starting to drive me insane now... Oh, and i got my cup of water

Thank you for the actual post with helpful information, i didn't think that kind of stuff actually happens on forums these days!
If you put your hands over your ears and you can't hear it, it is probably the latter. That also, for me, means that I would be getting a headache soon so I would stay of the computer for a while. Sleep I find helps get rid of this problem and judging by your name... well, yeah. Maybe also drink a second cup.
Still don't listen to music to loudly for a while just to be safe. Oh and you will find helpfull people on here. Sure not everyone but there will usually be one, it just happens to be me. It just depends on what you are asking and how you word it.
