Who was the last king of ROme?
Not sure about the holland but the last king wouldn't that be Napoleon?
Sorry, I was not clear. I'm looking for the last King of Rome.
Oh, then it was Lucius Tarquinius, right?

What? When the hell did this happen? I'm pretty sure Hitler never married until his final days in the bunker with Eva Braun. But that was just before he put a bullet in his head, so I doubt kids could've been in order.

I think you might be thinking of Goebbels.
I was always taught Eva Braun was his mistress not his wife.

And she was, until Hitler realized that the war was lost and the Russians were going to take Berlin. So he decided to marry her, before they both commited suicide.

Not far off.
Tarquinius Superbus if I recall correctly. Though it's all a bit hazy when we go back that far.
Thats the one.

What about my French Cav one??
After going through my addled brain I will finally hazard a guess. Mind, it's been some years since I worked with this but I suspect you are talking about the whole defeating the iced in fleet?

I don't think he ever had kids. He had a dog if that helps, dogs are kind of like kids. He poisoned the dog to death as well, which is sort of like sterilizing it. Sort of.

Maybe he didn't have kids, but he had a wife and a mistress and siphilis correct?

Edit: I was wrong again his wife was his mistress.

In what century did the Romans come up with the idea/pratice of Gladiators?
I think Livy states that it started during the first Punic War which would put it in the second century BC. Though I suspect that in actuality it goes back further, possibly to the Etruscans. A lot of Roman stuff can be traced to the Etruscans.

It should also be noted that our idea of gladiatorial combat in an arena, while not directly wrong, is at least a bit misleading. Mostly (at least during the Republic) gladiators fought when there was a funeral and it was mostly for show. At least as far as I know.

(Edited for typos)

Further edit: Livy also states that the Campanians did it in the 3rd century, but as we were talking about Romans I forgot to mention that. It's all a bit foggy anyway.

Kinda right from what I know it was like that in the early periods but later it became a thing where the Emporers would hold huge events which often were gladiatorial events which would be a yearly thing. You are correct that a lot of it was for show most of the time the gladiators lived to see another day, normally only when they put on a particularly bad show or if the emperor of the time was a complete dick did they kill the losing gladiator.

Yes. Pretty much what I was looking for.

The Romans did not come up with gladiatorial combat. It was the Latians or the Etruscans, they used them at funerals. The Romans though were the first to fight to the death.

AS far as I know you are right. I just know very little of the Principate and the Dominate, so I thought I'd confine myself to the Republic. :)

How did Hitler lose his testicle?
I think he lost it because he got caught up in an explosion in WW1. I'm not sure though.

And to the OP, nice idea for a thread. I think I'll stick around here for a while.
Nope Hitler's WW1 injury was from a British Gas Attack in which Hitler lost his sight temporarily putting him out of WW1. I'm pretty sure he lost it in the Munich Putsch as did Goering; who due to his treatment then became addicted to Morphine and later Cocaine while he was 2nd in control of the Third Reich.

Some Nazis questions.. Did Hitler die a Virgin? (hard)
What was Hitler's initial plan to deal with the "Jewish problem" (easy)
No way he was a virgin, he was married had kids and had a mistress, plus didn't he have siphilis?

Also, didn't he want to sterilize them?
He married Eva Braun the day before he committed Suicicde, it was doubted by loyalist Nazis in the bunker that they actually had sex on the honeymoon. And I'm sure the Kids wernt his but Eva's from another relationship.
Eva Braun was his Mistress for a long time but again it is doubted they had sex.
Hitler's only other known Love (if you can call Eva Braun a love of his) was his neice who, it has been reported did Freaky sexual Acts with Hitler against her will:(He would lie on the floor and have her piss on him ... which turned him on, but again it is doubted they had sex) commited suicide shortly after that kinda stuff started happening.

He did want them Sterilized but first he planned to ship all of them to madagascar.

NAZIS the more you delve into their secrets the more fucked up they are. =]

Population or land mass?
