OT: I found Mountain Dew in a shop near my school. You have no idea how happy that makes me.
I've never tried Mountain Dew, being a Brit. Is it really that good?

Even if everyone had an automated car that drove them around perfectly without crashes ever, one day some bloke with a shed would decide to fix his car himself and screw up the guidance system and you'll know one day that same blokes car will be in the oncoming traffic.. and he won't be the only one to do so.
Jist of it is, no matter how good your driving is, the cars around you might be shit and your skills can make bugger all difference.
IN some good cases though, as shown above, they do. :)

OT: My bit of luck? I'd have to say my girlfriend and I meeting up. She had ended her previous one days into us chatting and having known each other. Met up week or so later. Five months later = Today. Still together. And very happy.

Nope, can't think of anything. If anything I'm a magnet for bad luck. Usually anything really important I try to do fails somehow and anything I actually, really care about gets crushed before my hands no matter what I do. So much fun.
Same here. It sucks big time.

You should become friends with someone called CyhAnide on Youtube. She has an obsession with Mountain Dew.

My friend found some, and I got to have it. It is delicious.

Well my mum was driving and we scraped into a fence post. We thought we'd have to replace the door. Ended up just needing a new coat of paint. I thought that was pretty lucky. I also feel very lucky every time I cross a road, because that means I just avoided being hit by a car.

I'm not sure if that's luck. I'd say its kinda creepy, in that "Hi, my name is Nancy and I'm so screwed up emotionally I'm going to swing from guy to guy like a fucked up, maladjusted monkey to fill the void inside me that I think all these guys can fill" sort of way.

But, I hope it works out for you.
Believe me i had those same thoughts 3 weeks ago but as i said to another person by a series of unfortunate events i couldnt talk to her for 2 weeks and then when we could she still liked me so i think we will be good

Well I'm the kind of person who has never been happy unless in some kind of relationship. And after my last relationship ended..badly (her getting things done to her at band camp. And I wasn't at band camp.), and whilst making every effort to not be single, I am still single after 13 godforsaken months. Seems like everything is conspiring against me. Is that bad luck or what!

Well I don't really have a story but that lil bit about Mountain Dew peaked my interest, try this out:

http://www.greenpod.co.uk/

Those are the wonderful suppliers of Mountain Dew in the UK and they'll mail it direct to your door :p

Edit: I just realised how much that sounds like an advert which if I'm not mistaken is very much against the rules. Maybe I should remove the link or somethin :/

Some guy in an apartment building close to my brother's was fooling around with a pistol, possibly taking a drunken potshot at a pidgeon. Well the idiot shot the bullet into my brother's apartment, through a window, hitting him in the right nostril. The bullet went into the cheek, stopping 1-2 inches below his left eye. It had slowed down enough to only do mild damage, and my brother has no scar to prove it because it entered through the freaking nostril!

The really weird thing is that he was playing a driving game at the time, for the first time in a very long while, one I recommended to him actually. We both prefer to use wheels when playing racing games (both pc gamers), and the different position he was in made him sit further back than usual (He's a software-programmer so usually at the pc :) ). If he hadn't been playing that game it might have missed him or hit his skull sending fragments into his brain. He was alone at the time, so no help would have come.

So there, and it's all true unfortunately, do I win the thread? :p

not alot of lucky things happen to me, bad luck follows me around like a puppy, for example i decided to bonnet slide my mates car and my belt ended up taking HUGE chunks out of the paint work and one of the star studs got stuck in the hood of it and the belt got stuck in a side panel and when i stood up the panel alomst came with me, thank good it was an old shitty car that he selt for scrap or id be dead.

would say the luckest iv ever been was me and my mates where having a few beers and started letting off fireworks and one of the rockets hit a wall and rebounded off of it missing my face by a foot or so, i know its not that close but i shit my self

Someone kicked a basketball extremely hard, ended up hitting me in the head. Lucky part was i was out cold for a good minute or two, long enough to not feel my head hitting the concrete.

Well I payed $25.00 to go see Crystal Castles in the city and they had three openers who all played hour long sets each. The last train out of the city was at about 12:30 am and Crytstal Castles didn't get on until around midnight so I thought I'd have to leave before they even played their entire set. Luckily enough though my sister offered to come and pick me and my friends up from the show. I was unbelievably happy that I got to stay for the whole time because it was an amazing show.

EDIT: But usually I have outstanding luck anyways so situations like this are kind of commonplace for me. Not that I don't have some bad luck here and there but most times I find myself getting outstanding luck. Whether its in sports, video games, or blind buying albums just because I like the band name.

My half Huskie/half wolf awesome dog named Wolfie saved me. I was just a baby crawling into the road, my father or mother noticed (I forget who) and yelled my name, unable to reach me in time, Wolfie runs right at me, grabbing my diaper and pulling me safely back onto our lawn.
