I found the syndicate port to be annoying, mostly because having a joystick plugged in made all the prompts be for a nonexistent X360 controller. Speaking of that, getting BF3 to run with a joystick was a fucking pain. Unbind all controls for airplane/helicopter. Install joystick. Rebind all controls. If you have two external control devices: fuck you.

Pretty much anything made by rockstar. Never had a single one of their games work properly. vice city had a really bad sound problem, san andreas had a ctd which was unavoidable and only 10 minutes into the game, gta4 was horribly optimised and l.a. noire is incompatible with most nvidia based laptops. So yeah, I'm never buying a rockstar game ever again.

Why? Because the morons who ported the game didn't even allow the bloody mouse to be a part of the control scheme. I can't believe the publisher wctually released the final product.

Borderlands, the pc port was shit, it used gamespy and it wasn't until a patch a few months after release that it was actually playable multi, the interface was crap, somehow they forgot that a mouse tends to have a wheel. Fortunately it sounds like they are putting some effort into the pc version of 2.

I hate games that basically require you to get a controller for your PC just so you can play them.

Most PC gamers have gamepads because not all games are suited with Mouse and Keyboard, for example Super Meat Boy, it basically tells you at the start of the game that it will suck on the mouse and keyboard...

1, I don't have a gamepad. So, I am part of the minority here? All PC gamers I know don't have one.

2, I beat Super Meat Boy with the keyboard. I like it better with that, rather than a gamepad.

the part where you have to climb up a shaft with your spider mounted minions. That part is almost impossible to do with a mouse. I never actually got past it.

Oh dear god that. You know the sad part. Even with a controller that part is just horrible. I had it on my PS3 and dear god just no. I actually liked both games but that part just...did anyone even try it? I refuse to believe that was play tested otherwise one of the testers would have immediately beaten up the developer responsible for it.

3:Resolution options.

Basically all pc options you need are in the config menu.

You know alot of people conplain but I never had an issue... I guess I was just lucky.

Yeah its set to mic only mod by default.
I thought you had to set audio adapter to none and then you can use buttons instead of a mic.
Its a good pc port just mess around with the config a bit if you want to get shit done.

The only problem I had with the Saints Row 2 port was the interface. A bit more work could've gone into making it easier to use. But performance-wise? No real problems at all for me.

Beyond Good & Evil on the other hand, is hardly even playable for me on the PC. I've tried both the Steam version and the DVD one. Graphics issues, control issues, sound issues, framerate issues, the whole shebang. Also, Dead Rising 2, though it was nowhere near as bad.

I have like 15 frames per second, and my PC can play Witcher 2 on high. Not to mention that I shouldn't have to change my sound settings because the game operates at a bad frequency (and it seemed to be a prevalent problem). I haven't tried it since I switched graphic cards though to be fair, but I don't really want to.

I have the same FPS problem , and its no way in hell my computer since I can run battlefield 3 maxed out with a better FPS. It did it on my old graphics card (nvidia gtx 570 ) as well as my new one (gtx 680)

Does OFDR count? That was pretty bad. Its a shame, it could of been great.

Dragon Rising was a failure on more levels than one. The port of the game was pretty bad; Annoying menus that are navigated with the arrow keys, few customization options, etc., but the real killer was in the gameplay. It failed to deliver on what the Operation Flashpoint franchise was famous for - realism. The very fact that it was developed on a console ensured that it would be a failure. Oh, and the AI was, and still is, some of the worst I have seen.

Hitman 2, I'm not sure if it was a port, but there isn't any support for gamepad, and it's pretty much unplayable with the keyboard only.
