Dirge of Cerberus.

AND I will require you to provide a plot synopsis, describing in detail the point of each and every character within the context of the series.

They would commit suicide. I'm not joking, that game has near impossible level design. ou basically have to memorize the game.

I choose Battle Toads

Half Life 2. Even though it's not that bad, it's remarkable mediocrity compared to the praise it receives will help them appreciate good games, and teach them a lesson aboot people liking things for no apparent reason.

OT:Noah's Ark 3D. Or, seeing as how they're kids, make them listen to FF6's Kefka laughing for 20 minutes.

I've watched that entire video. Make them watch it twice.

what game would you force your child to play as punishment for doing something bad

if i had a boy i would force him to play that horrible barbie game

if i had a girl i would force her to play any of the Saw video games
I hope you're not actually a parent, because if you are you'll be the cause of another one of those kids who goes on a killing rampage that gets blamed on video games, and this time the media will be right.

If they did something really bad you could make them do a no death/no detection/no save run in MGS4 on The Boss Extreme difficulty with the stipulation that if you die or are detected, you have to start at the beginning again and you MUST watch all the cutscenes over again, including the 20 minute intro. Skipping any cutscene would count as noncompliance.

You can come down from your room either when you're ready to say you're sorry or when you've beaten the whole game.

Definately, Silver Surfer is pure malevolence! I don't understand how somebody could be so cold-hearted as to make something like that.
Fuck apologizing! I would spend all night trying to beat that game!

Why do you think that game is atrocious? I fucking loved that game! Yeah it was hard but that's not exactly a game breaking thing. Seriously if I came CLOSE to beating the whole game as a kid it's not that horrible.

As for my children, I would force them to play LEGO Batman without any help. Seriously even I didn't beat the first level because I just couldn't figure out how to proceed on two occasions.

Wow. Now that really was something. If anything, I've learnt that in terms of inflicting cruelties on sentient human beings, I have a long way to go.

I would make them play Devil May Cry 3. I don't care if they get carpal tunnel, they'll stop when I say so. They would have to skip the cutscenes, kill every single enemy, and I will offer no help if they get stuck.

Just pray your child isn't LordKat, the guy who beat Silver Surfer.
