They always make me giggle.

For me, if a horror movie fails to be scary, then it's still not going to make me laugh; it's just going to end up being, at best, mediocre or "blah".
That's what Dead Snow was like for me, for example. It wasn't scary, but it sure as hell wasn't funny either.
Well, there's one exception: Exorcist II: The Heretic. Wow, was that flick unintentionally hilarious.
I swear to motherfuckin' God, it has Nurse Ratchet hooked up to a memory device and the voice of Darth Vader dressed up as a locust.

I'm probably incredibly dumb by not knowing this, but I could never work out whether Drag Me To Hell was serious or not. I was laughing throughout nearly the entire thing (in a cringeworthy 'Oh God This Is So Terrible' way, not the good way) and so was the majority of the theatre I was sitting in. I was nearly in stitches when (spoilers? Meh) a possessed goat near the end started yelling "YOU BIIIITCH!" at this woman in a sheep-like, baa-ing voice.
Either way, I never liked it. :/

The director totally took this movie seriously and thinks it's actually really good. I highly recommend watching the documentary on it. It's a good insight on terrible movies.RebelRising said:
