So, do you know any little interesting tidbits no one else knows? I'm on a quest for stupid knowledge, have you any?

To respond to the OP: There is no fact I know that no one else knows that doesn't pertain specifically to me and remain useless in your quest for pointless knowledge. However, here is something interesting:
"If you have 3 quarters, 4 dimes, and 4 pennies, you have $1.19. You also have the largest amount of money in coins without being able to make change for a dollar."

Also, you might find this [http://www.randomfunfacts.com/] site interesting, just refresh it for new facts.

Mcdonalds teaches their employees the quickest way to put out a fire is with frozen french fries.

Coca-Cola's original formula contained coca leaves, which is what you make cocaine out of. Hence the name.

cherenkov (sp?) radiation, that is the blue glow that comes off of a nuclear reactor submerged in water, moves slightly faster than the speed of light.

edit: "google" is a real number, and that a googleplex is a google to the google power.
faster than the speed of light? Are you talking about the radiation or it's glow?

Every time marine biologists explore the deep sea, they discover a new type of fish or animal.

Angler fish mate for life by having the male permanently attached to the female. He gives her sperm to reproduce and she gives him blood to survive.

Oh and a Famous European office supplies pioneer wished to bring his products to North America, but he changed the label on his products, which was his European name, from Bich, to bic. Thinking Americans would mistake bich for *****.

Way to miss a Firefly quote.
Damn! I was gonna call it but you gave it away! Grrmf...

OT: There is a game currently under development that concerns various deities and important religious figures beating the immortal and ever-loving crap out of each other - and Santa Claus and Chuck Norris are confirmed playable characters (as the god of commercialism and the god of beards respectively).

Not quite, on both counts.

Cherenkov radiation is produced when a charged particle moves through a medium faster than light could through that same medium. It doesn't go faster than the speed known colloquially as lightspeed, which is in fact the speed of light in a vacuum. Lightspeed varies depending on medium.

As for the second point, the word is googol, not google. Google.com was named after the googol, which is ten to the power of a hundred. A googolplex is ten to the power of a googol, and is greater than the known number of hydrogen atoms in the observable universe, hydrogen being the most abundant element by a very great deal.

Did you know pain does not exist, it is made by the mind to say "Stop doing what you are doing." So technically pain is not a real thing
It's also a neuron signal times ten. Pain is literally feeling something too hard.

No piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times.
Based on what?
(I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, so here's a guessed answer.)
Here's the basic concept. Folding a piece of paper in half is increasing the thickness twicefold: <color=green>X^2
Easy to understand, yes?

Now, fold it in half again. <color=green>X^2^2

If <color=green>X is <color=green>2, then <color=green>X^2^2 is <color=green>16. That's only with two folds.

Fold it in half again would make it 16^2, or 256, times thicker. That's three folds.

Folding something in half seven times would be: <color=green>X^2^2^2^2^2^2^2

Following that same rule, folding a paper in half seven times makes it 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 times thicker. Even if one could do it, the paper would run out before it could be folded so many times.
Yeah, but my point was that it's actually been shown that you can do it 12 times, already. It's been mathematically proven by some girl(literally, she was in highschool or something) whose name I forgot.

Look it up.

Contrary to popular belief, a shotgun blast to the abdomen does NOT just piss off Wilford Brimley.

He can actually absorb the heat energy and use it to spawn smaller versions of himself (which we call "Brimlings").

Also contrary to popular belief, Chuck Norris is NOT god. He is simply empowered by human flesh. The only problem is, his own flesh counts.

And I thought it was 8?

The actual fact is "No piece of average notebook paper can be folded in half (7 or 8) times"
