As I put my book back into my bag and put my phones back in my ears, I realized that the black man who had been sleeping in front and to the left of me a moment ago was urinating into the trash receptacle on the bus. It was all over the floor and on his pants. He went back to sleep. Should've told the driver, but I didn't wanna deal with this asshole in the future. She probably wore gloves.

The urbanist YouTubers never talk about the homelessness and lack of transit enforcement that keeps people off transit. America's such a shithole.

I see so many glowing electric vests/body harnesses on the sidewalks and bike paths when I go home at night. Both on people and dogs. I wonder how much the wearers actually think about the problem or if they just accept it as normal, don't care. They have to be at least slightly annoyed to have to wear that, right?
