How did you discover the Escapist ?

a friend watched zp in school and so when I got broadband about 2 years later I watched zp on YouTube. I then lurked and well here I am!

Through Penny Arcade...i think Jerry Holkins wrote an Essay once for one of the Issues back when they were Weekly Issues, and fell in love with this article that measures "More than a feeling" as Level Design in Guitar Hero

I just looked around a lot of profiles recently and on a lot of the I saw some badge regarding Zero Punctuation or Extra Credits. So that made me wonder. Did they discover the Escapist due to ZP or EC ? For me I first found the Escapist when I was watching some review on youtube and saw a ZP review. After watching like 10 of them and almost dying of laughter I decided to check out the site and that's how I discovered it.

So, my fellow Escapists, how did you first find out about this site ?

Same story and till today my favorite video has to be that fable review from youtube.

Ehm.., this thread just pushed me beyond being a lurker. First post! (maybe last, dunno).

I think it was some random WoW discussion that brought me here back in like 2007 (?), been lurking ever since. Ask Dr. Mark kept me coming back for more, I was in training to become a psychologist myself at the time and loved that he had a gamer background like me.
