On topic, I really have no idea how I came up with my name. I like darkness, I wanted to be a Special Ops soldier whan I was young, and... yeah, no clue about how the "4" worked its way in there.

I believe it was at an old lazer tag place, it progressed into the account name for my email, aim, nickname, then my various online games, then....well you get the picture.

I haven't changed it since, so I don't plan on it now. Even though its a tad bit on the generic side.

A cheat from the first Age of Empires game (PHOTON MAN) which gave you a nuclear trooper. It just got catchy, so... yeah.

I then randomly added the number 62 on the end.

People who HAVE played AoE with cheats call me E=MC2 TROOPER, since that was a cheat for a very similar unit.

Curse you, making me all nostalgic. Damn that was a good game. What was that car with the rocket launcher, Big Daddy? My memory escapes me.

Anyway, my high school chemistry teacher a few years back (possibly the coolest teacher ever) was a good friend of mine. My friends and I would always bring my Xbox to school and he would play Halo and such with us. My name for games was always "Doom Dude". His favorite name was Pain Dispenser, always yelling that he would "dispense some pain". He has recently passed away, so I have since then altered my user names in his memory.

That's a very personal origin of a username. How... cute

It's an adaptation of Archemedes, it's also a character I designed in my Video Game Concept art project for college, He's a Fire Mage/Cowboy and I figured Archemetis sounds wizardy enough.
