Your girlfriend sounds like a geek. Dump her, and go out with her younger sister.
ELABORATE YOUR THOUGHTWAYS.

Geekish Women are the gold, you foolish impling!

did... did I just say that O_O
My bad. I guess i'm the only one who wants a woman thats been around the block a few times, instead of a nice sweet girl who learns elvish in her spare time.
Yup, you're insane. Cute nerdy girls kick ass in all possible ways. I'm sure we'd all like a gf who could kick our asses in TF2 instead of dragging us to see Eclipse. :3 Plus, they're usually the most adventurous in bed anyways.

Anyways I wish I could help man but all I know is a bit of Huttese.. But what you're doing is awesome. Don't let that one get away! ;)

not nessesarily learning fantasy languages, (which is... just weird), but I would prefer my GF to at least have the same interests as me. which would be a total geek of a girl.

Also, "gamer chicks". Obvious turn-on.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking B2?

OT: All I know is how to say "open". Which I guess has it's uses... if you know what I mean.
Yes, I'm sure you've opened many magical elven doors...if you know what I mean...

My girlfriend is attempting to learn Tolkien's Sindarin language, used by the Gray Elves in LOTR. I thought it would be cute to leave her a little message in the tongue, but I can't seem to make any sense of the dictionaries I've found online. Some help would be hugely appreciated :)
My little Tolkien language compendium says:

Sindarin:
No ím an oiale, ím mel.

Quenya:
Nuvalye nin oi, nin melda.

The translation may be a bit crude, but I think it gives the right message.

Your response does not compute.
She's a geek... dump her?
Speak English, man! I don't understand Fail.
She's a geek? Cling man, cling for all you're worth!

OT: I see you've already got an answer. Well I'll be in the back if anyone needs me.

Bel'lon, or something like that, was it not?

Except that's Dwarven, not Sindarin. As the dialogue - in the films, at least - said. No clue if it's the same in the book or not. Probably is.
It's the password into Moria, but I thought they mentioned it was made by elves, or was old elven magic from when elves and dwarves got along.
It was Elvish for 'FRIEND'.
You know, the clue, 'Speak 'FRIEND' and enter'?

In many circumstances, this is in fact impossible for me; I don't think there's a single woman extant in the world today who could ever be attracted to somebody who installs obsolete mainframe operating systems for fun, and who has a real penchant for simulators over other genres.
FALSE! I AM a gamer girl and a neuroscience student, and I am very attracted to nerdy guys. Maths, science, programming, gaming, etc. = sexy. Insane levels of nerdiness? Hot!
I want a guy who can hold his own, both in-game and in intelligent conversation.
Don't be fatalistic in thinking such girls don't exist. A rarity, perhaps, but REAL and exciting nonetheless.

I think you're the first person I've seen make RAK post something remotely positive in a relationship thread, so kudos on that! :D

What I'd say is Melin ceni hin lîn síla i 'eladhach which is basically "I love the shine in your eyes when you laugh."
