Nope, directly into my friend while we were playing reach last week. I then had to hit him because sll the rifle had done was take down his shields.

I don't know what it is about Halo that evokes such strong reactions from people. It's cheesy, poor graphics, the mechanics feel off, it's clunky and the multiplayer is poor.

Go along with it. Make it not a joke against you, but your own joke, that every game is like this "Tribes" game. Your friends sound very annoying...I guess my friends are annoying too, but we wouldn't pick on one of our own like this, and if we do, it's always just for fun and not to be a dick about it. So start it being your own joke, use it more often and eventually 1. You'll make it an old, dead joke. Or 2. If they really wanted to just see you steam up when they used it, it won't work because you start using it even more than they do.
