I'm blonde. And yet I have dark facial hair. I have no fucking clue how. But I just use a razor blade. I don't know what else I'd use. Kitchen knife?

I'm pretty lazy when it comes to shaving, I need to shave everyday but unless I have an important meeting or appointment I go weeks without shaving. When I do save I use a wet razor and I always sport a goatee.

I've had my 2-blade Gillette Sensor for over a decade now. I can't be sure but I think it was sent to me as a freebie in the post. Even though blades are not cheap, I stick by it because I have had an electric razor in the past which was about as effective as rubbing my face with cotton wool. I also, stupidly, tried those cheapo Bic razors that come in a pack of ten. I used one and it was like shaving with a rusty cheese-grater!

Since then I have stuck with shaving foam / gel and my trusty Gillette. Sometimes I get the 3-blade heads for it but really there's not much difference.

As for frequency, I can manage about 4-6 days growth before it gets scruffy and irritating and so it has to come off!

with a razor under the shower (mach 3 thingy) but recently (post beard) triming and attacking the sloppy edges with the razor. As long as I shave under or directly after showering and don't let it grow for more then 2 days I can attack it dry.

It'll never cease to amaze me how much it can seem everything has already been posted at this point, and yet threads like this will come along to show even the tiniest of mouse turds can be talked about.

And for me, variety. Razor and electric shaver. Just depends whatever I feel like.

I don't shave. I get bumpy and irritated and itchy and blargh. I use a trimmer to trim as close as possible and maintain a short goatee. Usually only have to do it every week or so because my facial hair grows at an incredibly sluggish rate.

I shave irregularly and incompetently with a cheap razor that I like to refer to as "Sting".

I got a fairly high-end electric shaver for Christmas and it's glorious. GLORIOUS! :D

Electric shaver, usually. I've kept it growing for quite a long while now, so when I next shave, I'll most likely have to use a razor.
I don't mind being clean shaven, having stubble or even a full beard. I actually want to to grow the fill beard and mo' thing, but it takes forever to grow.

I use an electric razor (the kind with the spinny circular blades). I used to wet shave, but I'm fucking dreadful at shaving. I'm thinking about getting a beard trimmer so I can keep some permanent stubble- even with an electric razor I'm prone to leaving bits under my chin, and I spend forever getting my sideburns lined up.

I haven't shaved fully in 2-3 years, I use an electric trimmer to keep it short but there's always something there. How often I do this varies. I tend to alternate between this:

And this:

With varying levels in between.
That is some excellent hobo Sam Fisher cosplay in your second picture!

I have to shave my legs and underarms every 2-3 days as the hair grows so fast T-T but I can't tolerate the itchiness of hairy legs or I wouldn't bother, I just use one of the Venus lady razors in the shower, it's a pain in the butt when I miss spots, I'm thinking of swapping to a hair removal cream, maybe it'll last longer.

I use a 5 blade razor, wet. I've tried electric razors, and three blades, but they don't get close enough. Looks like I hardly even shaved.

Used a trac-2 & hot tap water every day for 25 years. Then last year I upgraded to a sensor & face-lathering w/ brush & cream. No question it's a bit of a hassle but I've tried going back & my cheeks felt like sandpaper in the afternoon.

Tried an electric for a while but it somehow managed to irritate the hell out of my skin without giving me a close shave.
Tried a bic shaver once but I decided I'd prefer to keep my face attached.
Tried an atra for a while but the pivot design was shit; left the whiskers alone & cut my face to hell instead.
Flappy-heads work well enough but I can't get used to such a narrow angle between the handle & blade.
Been meaning to try dual-edge but I watched The Wall when I was 22 and there's a scene in it w/ a DE blade that seems to have scarred me for life.

I have a wahl hair trimmer that I use to trim my head hair and beard. I also use it without any trim guide things to eradicate my neckbeard and mustache. I've tried a few electric shavers(for faces), but they never seem to do a good job or last very long. Sometimes I'll use my multi-blade razor to clean things up, but I'm pretty lazy and usually just call it a day after the wahl. I also like to keep my underarms and man-bits trimmed, because it makes drying off faster and I feel fresher for longer.

You should get a small pair of scissors and try using those to trim your beard. I find that preferable to an electric trimmer myself.
Oh, I used to use scissors but I found it too difficult to get an even cut all over, once I got an electric trimmer I've never looked back.
I find I can get a much more even trim with scissors than with an electric trimmer.

Well I don't really shave at all. I've tried shaving a few times and I've traded in a beard of hair for a beard of bumps. And since my facial hair hasn't changed from the neat little tuff of beard hair on my chin at all and I have yet to grow a neckbeard shaving is entirely pointless for me.

Safety razor with double edge blades.
Better closer shave than the cartridges with several blades.
And you save so much money.

Shave in shower. Razor (electrics have never seemed to work all that well for me, and my hair is dark and fairly dense, so stubble is noticeable.) I shave to a Van Dyke-style beard, and trim beard and mustache every 1-2 weeks.

Dry, ain't nobody got the time that!

Seriously, I just do it wet when I have enough time which is almost never...
