On hitman i always tried to avoid using guns, usually I got up close and garroted them but sometimes I stabbed them or used a silenced pistol.

if we're talking a major target I have two methods.

The silent method in which nobody knows I was ever there and can escape unharmed.

And the suicidal method in which I don't think past the assassination. I may use stealth early on, but once the target's dead my goal is to simply get out of dodge as quickly as possible with as few lacerations as possible.

I tend to go with the latter, moreso due to lack of skill than preference.

Before I got the first Hitman game, I played the bejeezus out of the demo mission. I got to the point where I could bring absolutely nothing with me, steal the kitchen knife from the restaurant and still get my three targets downed.

you and I would make a fine team in the field of assassination.
Add me as a friend (if you must), and we will discuss this later.

As you wish. I also believe that discretion is the better part of valor.
I believe that you should not measure your success by how discreet you were, but by how much your victim thinks you're a badass while he's in hell.
Unfortunately, my last vic isn't going to be doing much thinking... I homogenized his brain with a silenced Macmillan TAC 50. If he can still think after that, I didn't do it right.

Drive up to their car, get out of mine, throw them from their car, one bullet to the back of the head, walk away

I found breaking through the wall in an SUV and crushing them with it to be quiet effective.

But I have founded my own assassination method unique to myself in that I can only do it once since I will die if I do it.

I hijack an F16, fly it full speed towards where my target is jump out at the right moment with my fist aimed forward as I plummet like a torpedo to him. Then, as I am about to hit him, I scream at the top of my lungs, "FALCON PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWNCH!!!!" The resulting damage from me punching a guy in the face at over a hundred miles per hour should destroy him completely.
Dude, only 100 mph? Thats weak sauce for the F-16. In fact, if you were going that slow, that plane didnt even make it there, it's spinning out of control because it STALLED. Now 500-700 mph, thats more like it.
Ah, I don't really know these things, my bad...

Either way, the guys head would just be a miss all over the floor at that point.
True, and I can't argue with the effectiveness of your method, just with the difficulty of surviving the technique.

Toss a poisoned rice ball around the corner.
Wait until the guard goes to pick it up.
Quickly close distance, break his arm and stab him in the throat.

(Man, now I want to play Tenchu... but which one?)

Edit: Wrath of Heaven. And, now, I am thankful that I haven't sold my PS3 yet...

Kick down the front door and repaint the lobby.

In honesty, though, it depends on the game. If it has really fun knife mechanics, I'll stab him. If it has really awesome destruction mechanics, I'll blow him up. And so on.

Caesar's tent, stealth boy, anti material rifle, incendiary round.

Head blows clean off, lighting the decapated body on fire, slumping in his throne if AIs could think I would like to think that his advisers would of believed it an act of God.

Long live Caesar...psh

I usually prefer beating my foes to death bare handed, but there's no better kill than running up to your target, jumping up, placing one hand on their shoulder while the other reaches toward the heavens, extending it's hidden blade and finally sinking it into the throat of your enemy. Or someone who got in the way. Or bards. Or fucking lepers.

Compund bow & aluminum shaft arrow . . . nice, clean, silent . . .

. . . close enough to be personal, distant enough to be indifferent.

Also cheap, relatively untraceable and lethal.

I prefer my assassinations as quick and efficient as possible. Walk up behind someone and put a round in the back of their head with a suppressed 9mm and walk away like nothing ever happened.

I'm a personal guy, so I'd prefer something along the lines of a baseball bat to the back of the head. I'd use a wood bat, so I could burn the weapon afterward. A bomb isn't a bad alternative if I can't expect to be alone with the mark. I like the idea of poison...but it's too dangerous, with a nick or open cut could lead to my own death.

I bite him. ...Hard.

..What? Biting can be very effective...
Well yeah, against Ghost-types, but apart from that...
H..H..Haha...HahahAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Do you write your own material?
Pfsshfss. That one was easy. Biting + effective = Pokémon reference.

But yes. I do.
