1.) If it's not part of a bounty, avoid.

2.) Drop down, possibly saying "Come on, if you think you're hard enough", and kill them.

3.) Histskin until I have adequate health, then beat with axe or sword.

4.) Same as number 2, without the "drop down" part.

Seriously. That 15x bonus is too good to ignore.
I call that sneak attack the "fuck everyone" attack. I also summon in some body guards to distract the enemy while I sneak around and 1 hit sneak attack kill the bitches

You mean x30 bonus? You can get gloves that double the sneak attack on one handed weapons. It stacks, and it's fun.It pretty much overkilling the overkill, but fuck that, overkill is fun.

My method of combat is run into the fray, use a very large axe with a powerful health drain enchantement and hack away.Simple, and reasonably efficient against everything that isn't a boss.

1) Reanimate the best corpse I can find before going into the fray.
2) FUS ROH DAH!
3) Attack with destruction magic from a moderate distance, running and wearing down my opponents' health as best as possible.
4) FUS ROH DAH!
5) Draw my greatsword and finish off the enemy with a power attack.

I play a stealthy wood elf who dualwields a dagger and a sword. I mostly use sneaking and backstabbing, and sometimes using only basic shouts (wuld/Fus) + Illusion spells

1- Simply walk away, minding my own business... don't provoke them unless they stand somewhere where I need to go. Also most enemies I encountered are pretty weak to calm spells so calm them, run past and hide.
2- Cast fury, enter sneak and run past them in the commotion I caused, the ones who'll follow me I take with the sword/dagger :D
3- Use my animal companion power, that should probably buy me some time to get away.
4- Engage the bandit and keep targeting the mage and archer with FUS.

Level 39
Nightingale armour :)
60 restoration
56 destruction
99 One handed :D

You come across a giant on a highway. He sees you, but does not attack you since you are about 100 yards away. He WILL attack you if you get close, but you can both go on your merry way without having to engage in hostilities.

Shout: Marked for Death
hack and slash with my glass sword (level 39) my sword does 78 damage :S
Left hand I have restoration spells: Fast Healing if he hits me

You are in a crypt where you can hear several undead walking around near you. You know there are at least 2, but there could be 5 for as well as you know. You do not know the type of undead, or how tough they are, just that they are undead (since that is all you have encountered thus far). You enter the room they are in, and see they have the elevation advantage, but have not detected you yet.

Go in swinging my sword like crazy using fast healing when necassary.
since it's most likely to be draugr I would use fire breath :)
Healing spells when necassary

Having just killed a challenging dragon, your health and magick is low. You stand still for a couple seconds waiting for your mana to replenish itself so you can heal, but are attacked by a frost mountain cat and 2 ice wraiths.
Magicka and health potions so I can use my sword and healing spells efficiently

You are sneaking around in a fortress, trying to get the stealth bonus on a particularly tough bandit. Just as you are about to strike, one of the bandits sees you and all 12+ bandits in the fortress are alerted to your presence. Your escape route is cut off, and you are in a medium sized room with 2 ways out. The tough bandit you were about to strike down turns and attacks you right away, and you see the other 2 bandits in the room are a mage and an archer.

I'm probably fucked, I would save it first then keep trying over and over using why fore mentioned tactics I would use Ice Form to freeze as many as I could to the ground, kill the mage then two handed guys (fuck the archer really :p).

Giants are best avoided. I usually try to find a dragon to attack giants for the easy soul.

UNdead crumple under my badassery. most importantly my fire magic. I don't care how they come at me, they just die. undead aren't my problem.

this one would give me trouble. It's a good thing I have a ton of potions. I just load up on potions and it's like I'm good as new. to be honest those stupid snow leopards can two shot me so I get it out of the way first by dropping down a dremora(via sanguine rose) to distract it then I can fry the ice wraiths with more fireballs!

Mage first, melee characters close would be taken out second and the archer somewhere in between. I have no problem running in circles to get the right moves in so I'm in a good position to hit multiple enemies with my fireball, in fact that would be the only way I'd survive. if I'm still alive I loot to see what they gots

I don't start fights. Unless something is in my way or openly attacking me, I leave them on they're merry way.

Ready my upgraded greatsword and hope that there's more than a paltry 5 before charging the elevated position and re-deadifying everything that moves.

Well luckily I don't use magic and I don't have to wait for potions to recharge, but if we were to say i used all my potions against the dragon, then I'd try to blast both wraiths with force, charge the cat, and probably go down swingin.

12+? Bring it.

I've been alternating between bow, sword/war axe and shield, and duel flames for awhile now, but I just picked up Dagon's Razor, so I think I may be focusing on using the razor in one hand and my daedric war axe in the other.

I haven't bothered with shouts much, I only figured out where to get them a few days ago. I've been sneaking and using my bow when I'm undiscovered, and then using duel flames and playing keep away, or shield smashing and striking with my war axe if I get into a fight.

Oddly, I seem to be dieing more now with my full Daedric armor, shield, bow, war axe, and Dagon Razer now, then when I was when I was using dropped ebony axe and shield, and steel armor.

A note to people who are smithing farming: Don't bother going to level 100 smithing if you are using Heavy armor. Dragonplate armor is substantially weaker than Daedric, and you cannot make dragon bone weapons. The only use of 100 smithing is for Dragonscale armor, which seems to be better then the previous tier of light armor, glass.

1) Stay the hell away. I just started a new game and am in no way strong enough to take on giants yet.

2) If they are all clustered I use one of my fireball scrolls to kill/injure as many as possible. Then I pick off survivors with my bow, and if any get close I claw them to death (I play a Khajiit heavy armor and claws specialist).

3) I'd have to just run for it. Like I said earlier, new character, so I have no chance against odds like that. Of course assuming I'm a higher level and keep going with my build as planned, I claw the cat to death and snipe at the wraiths with arrows.

4) Outnumbered by 2 tough opponents and an archer eh? Looks like I'm gonna have to go werewolf up in this *****. Either that or cast Fury on the tough guy and laugh as he kills his friends.

Quicksave then give it a go starting with a stealth bonus with my Forsworn Bow then my standard Skyforge Steel Sword and Firebolt/Ice Spike Combo. If it's going well, Yay! If not, quickload.

Similar to the above, take as many as I can stealthily with my bow then when I'm detected switch to dual fireball casting taking 1 or 2 casts depending on my magicka then switch to sword and shield to take out the stregs.

Gulp down as many health and magicka potions as needed from my inventory then take out the cat first to give me breathing room then focus on the Ice Wraiths with sword and fire attacks.

In my experience, probably quickload. If that's not allowed then sword and shiled with as many fire breath shouts as I can do until either I or they are dead.

This just made me realise how indecisive I am in combat. Anyone else use archery, melee and magic the same-ish amount?

1. I don't fuck with giants. Tried to kill one once because I was a noob still and got my skull hit so hard I flew back to Winterhold...so I would just go away... or molest his mammoth and run like hell.

2.Summon big Ice creature (can't remember name). Have him charge in and I would sit back spamming fire balls.

3. I gots potions since I am a alchemist, so I would heal up, summon Ice man, take down the Ice wraiths and then (if I haven't used it yet) use high born to deal with the saber.

4. Get to a more open space, use Ice storm to slow any attackers and then summon Icy man. Use frost storm till they all are dead.

I use my power of "Abusing bad path finding".

Seriously, it never lets me down. TES games are good for their dynamic combat situations- that is to say, combat you can approach however the fuck you want. That means you can easily, for example, aggro the dudes and run back to that rock you passed a while ago. Then, perhaps, you could stand upon it, and use 'Flames' to burn the enemy to dead as they stand there, helpless.

Hell, kiting works well enough for melee targets. Just run around backwards, occasionally turning around to sprint, then flip back and let fire.

I checked all those scenarios, and I'd approach every one with the same basic idea, Sometimes using my trusty FUS RO DAH! to clear my path, or IIZ SLEN NUS! to buy some time.

EDIT: I usually leave Giants alone, though. I managed to lead one to a town once, that was pretty funny. Other than that, I let them be.

Quick-save, attempt to kill the giant. Load save if I get my ass handed to me and go around.

2
Hmm, can't say I have met resistance with undeads yet ('cept for the ones with the frost-beam thing, they suck). I'd probably run in with my shield up, arrows bouncing off it and start swinging my sword and shield-bashing 'em to bits. Use potions and Healing-spell as needed and play a bit defensively while they are greatly outnumbering me.

3
Kill the cat quick (Shield Bash + 3 hits or so if I don't get a crit/power attack in), Run in a circle hoping for my magicka to restore so I can heal, if needed, use one of my "emergency potions" I keep with me.

4
KILL THE MAGE FIRST. Them bastards kill my Redguard way too quick >_>

1) Use my Elven Bow that has 30 damage plus 22 fire damage and snipe it before it reaches me.

2) Fireball as many as I can, then switch to my shield and dawnbreaker.

3) Run. Fast. Using the whirlwind shout if possible until my mana comes back then fireball into shield + heal into firebolt into shield + heal.

4) Unrelenting force shout the guy in front of me then switch to my elven bow ( mentioned earlier) and take out the mage first. Afterwards I just clean up with magic and my bow.

1. I'd go around him. I have yet to fight a giant successfully. And really they aren't bothering anyone. So why should I bother them?

2. I'd lure whatever undead I can to where I am and use my fire rune to damage them, if not outright kill them. I'd imagine at least some of the undead have no way of fighting me from afar.

3. Depends on how many potions I have. If I had a good amount of potions, I'd heal up, and use my fire breath shout mixed with my melee attacks to take them out. Ice Wraiths, while they are still somewhat of a threat, are actually pretty fragile.

4. I'd probably use either my push shout to knock down whatever enemies that are in my way and book it. I'd rather run away to live to fight another day then get my ass handed to me by a large group of enemies.

I kid you not with the following. I mash the left and right mouse button as hard as I can.
As if I'm playing Diablo on some sort of crack. Sometimes, to add drama, I press 8. For a potion.

That's it. I run in. Mash mousebuttons. Press 8. Loot. Done.
