I ignore it.
It's a pretty easy emotion to ignore, actually. Not like anger. Ignoring anger is like ignoring a blade cutting into your leg.

Alright, alright, I suppose I do find it difficult to deal with my arachnophobia.
I'm getting better, but fixing it completely is difficult. The "ignore 'till it goes away" approach doesn't seem to be working too well.
