How do you react to blood?

Depends on the amount. Until there's enough to cover a chihuahua, I'm ok with it.

Also depends on the situation. If I have a nosebleed and it just isn't stopping, cool with it. I've had those go for 30 mins, not pleasant, but got me the afternoon of school. But when I went for work experience and witnessed orthopaedic surgery (which I strongly recommend not witnessing at any point in your life) I felt really ill and left.

Sometimes I start getting shivers and such and sometimes it's like, oh well...
And I have no idea when, even small amounts can sometimes give me shivers and sometimes it's the larger amounts while I just as often keep calm.
I like the taste of it thou xD

As long as I can keep it inside my body, it's fine. If it's leaking, I try to stop it.

After I was discharged from military service, I reacted to blood by being paralyzed by it. It took me awhile to get used to it, but once I saw blood I would shake, sweat and couldn't move. Now it just feels unsettling, but I can deal.

i just helped my mother clean up a minor head wound. so i'd either react like 'right, ok you dont seem to be about to die...' or
'can you stop bleeding on me now?' (like if it were someone who constantly gets nosebleeds. i had to share a boat cabin with one...)

I find it too compleing a substance. Then I do find it more than interesting most likely suffer one of on or more of the paraphilia invloning blood. Even if paraphillia is a slightly derogatory world for the terms. I can not be bothered to list all the blood related things that make me feel so. Though these are mostly related to my sadism and masochism.

I once had the needle from a sewing machine go through one of my fingers. I don't know if it was me going into shock or what but it didn't really phase me. The needle broke off the machine and I managed to pull out some of it. I had to squeeze the rest out. I'm just glad it didn't go through the bone. I donate blood to the local Red Cross donor center on a regular basis.

Blood itself has never bothered me. I've given blood and all so, not a big deal.

What gets me is the gore that goes along with blood. Like if I see bone, flesh or guts, I will want out.

Not to go all Dexter on anyone, but I find blood to be cool.

I don't feint near blood, but I usually get all weak in the joints. I don't even have to see blood most of the time, I get weak when someone talks about it extensively. But Video game blood doesn't bother me at all. ..Most of the time.

I don't try to look at others, but when it's my own, if it's in large quantaties like having it collected for a test, i tend to stare and then feel weak in the arms after.

Get a papercut or a nick , shrug clean it up.

Accidentally have a old folding knife fold back on your finger cutting through the nail side ways hitting bone, to which ends I still find random splatters months after it happened. And being pretty fucking concerned.

I have seen countless gallons of blood and it bothers me very little, vomit on the other hand will make me sick to my stomach faster than a finger down the throat.

Edit: I should clarify I worked at a hospital for about 5 years.

My response is; "Oh some blood, how did that get there?", most of the time. As for when I stopped using plasters/band aids, I never really started using them or stopped. It is just a matter of chance whether I put one on.

I don't mind blood, it doesn't creep me out or make me feel sick, but...

... get your blood in my food, and that's nasty.

My sister once cut her finger whilst making dinner, beld into the pasta she was cooking and it instantly turned black when it hit the pan. The worst part is there were already black bits in the dinner so it was hard to distinguish blood from food. I ended up eating it all but it was still a bit dodgy eating food that could still have bits of my sis' blood in it =S

Well here is what I do, I get a water gun and a blood taking thingies, and put the two together and put the reviving end of the blood taking kit on the open wound (veins work just as good) and then I fire it at the people responsible for my injury!

Blood doesn't bother me at all. I'm incredibly accident prone, so most of my clothes are stained with a good amount of blood - if I wasn't okay with it, I'd be in major trouble. I actually enjoy the taste and smell of it. Although from working in the medical industry, strangers' blood can scare me because I like being disease free...
Also, I have to use some sort of absorbtion on wounds - I bleed very heavily but clot quickly. If that makes sense.
I once got my blood tested by having the tip of my finger pricked with a high gauge needle, and they gave me a tiny piece of gauze and left me for 20 minutes to test it. When they came back, my finger had bled and my flimsy paper gown was covered in blood from the waist down. But my finger had stopped bleeding finally

No, I'm not too bad. Today, in maths my friend stabbed my other friend's hand with a pen and it started bleeding (not much) so he wiped it on the guy next to him. The teacher came over and saw what was happening so told him to stop wiping his bodily fluids on the guy next to him. We started pissing ourselves.
