Usually i just say: "AHH FUCK!"
Yeah pretty much this. What is it about the good ol' F-Bomb that makes pain go away?
Believe it or not, swearing profusely after an injury encourages your body to produce adrenaline, which 'numbs' the pain quite effectively.
I KNEW there had to be a reason!!!

Um, they're angry cause their injured...
Anyways, this is kinda me, I'll hurt something, clench my teeth and growl. It's like "biting the bullet".
I'm not talking about getting pissed off and griping about their injury. I'm talking more about the kind of people who, say, stub their toe, or bash their dead on a door-frame, and then promptly punch a tree or their bedroom wall until their knuckles bleed... or in one case I know of, crack.

That's not indicative of being angry at pain, because by doing so, you're inflicting more pain upon yourself.
Thanks for clarifying. I didn't get all of that out of "Angry for no apparent reason". Sorry.

I grit my teeth and bear it out of some misguided notion of pride. I find pain to be frustrating (depending on the degree of pain it just demands so much attention!), but at the same time I have great respect for it. Once I fractured my femur, but because I didn't want to be a wuss I played off the pain as no big deal, hobbled over to a picnic table to sit down. As I was at the fair, the medical people wrote it off as a strain of some kind and told me to keep off it, elevate it yadda yadda. The pain got worse and worse until finally my parents took me to the emergency room later that night. Got a cast from my crotch to my ankle -- no fun.

So now when my body tells me something is wrong I damn well listen to it.

Once I sliced about 2cm deep into my thumb and just looked at it thinking "This should probably hurt more" :-/ but I do tend to swear with an Irish accent when I burn myself (i'm a chef so it happens a bit)weird...

Heh. Yep. That's me. This is where I'd say why, but I don't know why, hence there being no apparent reason.

Ill say "ow" sarcastically if it mildly hurts. Once it gets to more severe pain, my eyes get wide and I get real quiet, if it's painful enough I shout an obscenity or two but that's it.

My best friend since like fuckin elementary school feels no pain. Its ridiculous, I once kicked him in the nards pretty hard and he just stood there and smiled at me. Im okay I guess at pain tolerance, it depends on what the injury is, a simple slap on my back is more painfull than getting punched or tearing the ligaments in my shoulder for some reason (Fuckin baseballs a *****)

If I'm in private I swear vigorously. If its in a public setting I may let a "dammit" slip out. Either way I then just walk it off.

It depends on the extent of the pain. A lot of times I sort of freeze up and try not to move a muscle until it passes, which in cases like a stubbed toe I know it will.
In severe cases where it's something that requires medical attention I usually wavier between containing my emotions or simply letting the tears fall. To be honest it stupidly depends on what sort of day I've been having. If things have been rough then all that emotion building up bubbles over so I generally just cry it out to get it over with. Most other times though unless it's excruciating I manage to contain my outbursts. I'd like to point out though I haven't been severely injured in my life. Most cases of 'pain' I actually refer to as extreme discomfort, because it feels more like my insides are falling apart than being literally ripped out. Sorry for the... odd... analogy.

With an "Ouch", unless it really hurts, and then I laugh like the Joker and Pennywise the Clown had a baby.

Most of the time, I curse and continue on my way. I'll make a token effort to stop whatever's causing said pain, if I know how, but beyond that I essentially ignore it.

The one time I didn't was when I fractured my ankle falling off a motorcycle. In that case, I cursed a bit, hobbled my way over to my friends/the car, sat down and didn't put weight on it for the next two days.

when its not serious, i usually can ignore it, but if it is serious, like when i tore the tendon on my ankle (from falling off a 2 foot platform btw) i curse under my breath a few times then i just lay down and try to go to sleep. strange reaction i know

There's usually a lot of swearing, which works better than Advil at relieving pain in my experience.

4) People who only really feel the pain for a few seconds after being injured.
...
8) And even people who experience such a strong surge of adrenaline they basically become machines until the adrenaline wears off.
...
I'm basically these 2. If it's just something like stubbing my toe, even if particularly badly, I'll probably say "Ow!" Then keep walking as if nothing happened.

If it's a really bad injury, that's when I'm a mix of 4 and 8. I'll feel it for a bit, then the adrenaline kicks in and, once again, I'll just keep doing what I was doing, possibly even faster/more efficiently (depending on what the situation is) thanks to the adrenaline, so that I can finish the task and then see if what just happened to me actually did any real damage.

A perfect example is back in secondary school, while I was playing basketball with friends one lunch time. I got knocked over onto the asphalt, but then got right back up to get the ball back and pass it out of our half. A minute later I finally stepped out to see what the fall did to myself - turns out that the asphalt had basically ripped off a lot of the skin on my knee, and I was bleeding pretty badly.
Even with a couple of friends walking with me, I still managed to walk myself over to the nurses office. :p

It's probably a combination of ignoring it or getting angry with myself if it's self inflicted through stupidity. For example when my finger nearly got chopped off and was pouring in blood I didn't even feel any pain. I suppose I have quite a high pain thresh hold.
