I'm basically these 2. If it's just something like stubbing my toe, even if particularly badly, I'll probably say "Ow!" Then keep walking as if nothing happened.
If it's a really bad injury, that's when I'm a mix of 4 and 8. I'll feel it for a bit, then the adrenaline kicks in and, once again, I'll just keep doing what I was doing, possibly even faster/more efficiently (depending on what the situation is) thanks to the adrenaline, so that I can finish the task and
then see if what just happened to me actually did any real damage.
A perfect example is back in secondary school, while I was playing basketball with friends one lunch time. I got knocked over onto the asphalt, but then got right back up to get the ball back and pass it out of our half. A minute later I finally stepped out to see what the fall did to myself - turns out that the asphalt had basically ripped off a lot of the skin on my knee, and I was bleeding pretty badly.
Even with a couple of friends walking with me, I still managed to walk myself over to the nurses office.
