I generally don't. Unless I kill someone with a one shot weapon. Such as Headshot, Shotgun to the Torso, or Energy sword in Halo, then I'll ***** that it clearly wasn't his kill, as he cannot possibly have contributed to it.

"Does it really matter?"
(If it's the second time, I add "you whiny b!%&#")
Either way,
"Don't play with your food" usually works.

Or I apologize, because sometimes it clearly is their kill but I had already lined up the shot.

If by voicechat i'd say: "yes. And I'd do it again ! MUAH HA HA!"

if typed; well Iwould ingore it,typing takes up to much time. Time I could use to steal their kills.

All I ever say is 'ok' as flat as possible. Show them that you don't care and they'll shut up.

I try to avoid people who cry about something as stupid as a kill being "stolen". It usually means that they aren't team players which usually result in our loss anyway. Unfortunately, they can be hard to avoid if you can't find the right group to play with. If I'm in a game, and I do shamelessly shoot someone who is in last stand and obviously not a threat, I apologize before they even get the chance. If it's during a chaotic firefight or if I run into somebody who isn't completely dead who is about to shoot me and they still say something. I just "You'll get over it". Or sometimes "Yes, I have 7 assists, you'll get over it".

Your inability to understand the basic form of movement resulted in me to bash my head against my desk and quicken the process.

"Vas is das schisse? Einer kill-stealing ist meinen hamburger!"

Something like that?

Personally I laugh in their face. The kill belongs to whoever MADE the kill. Depending on the game, the get assist points 90% of the time, so they should know better than to *****. "You stole my kill" is just a void form of attention-seeking.

I generally say " But I shotgunned"
Oh and "I know thanks for the help" that normally makes them angry.
