How do you shave?

I use a bladed razor...
Apply water, apply shaving foam, swing blade madly, avoid mustache, complete.

I have a better question, and I'm being totally serious with this.

Let's just say I'm Irish, and an ex told me "you should invest in a beard trimmer." She was NOT talking about my face/neck. And while I'm afraid that a normal razor would cut me to ribbons down there, I also fear that an electric would injure me as well.

Does anyone have any advice on this? Feel free to poke fun at me for asking (thank you, anonymity!).

No need to poke fun, women like it when a man takes care of his 'bits.' And YES, do not, I repeat DO NOT use a razor on your pubic hair! YOU WILL REGRET IT. Keep the short & curlies nicely trimmed using either a beard trimmer like your ex suggested, or just a comb and a pair of scissors. If you feel adventurous you CAN use a razor on the ol' twig & berries, just use a LOT of shaving cream/moisturizer/body wash or whatever & remember to moisturize afterwards or you'll be itchy as hell. Just remember, once you do it you're pretty much committed to it, but if your ex is thinking what I think she's thinking, you will be one happy camper, and so will any future girlfriends.

For those of you that are laughing or even worse thinking "Oh Gross" or "Fag," GROW THE FUCK UP. If you had even the slightest idea how much more oral sex I get because I'm not a freakin' hair farm south of the border, you'd shut your yap. NOW.

I was at a party not too long ago where the subject of this kind of shaving came up, and there was the usual peurile, immature comments from some of the younger guys, but THEY weren't the ones having all the hot single women walking up to them and asking to see THEIR package all night, and they also weren't the ones who got dragged into an upstairs bedroom by two redheads.

And I really don't give a shit who believes me, you don't live my life.

So I say go for it, if you don't like it you can always grow it back, but something tells me this will be a decision with no future regrets. Unless for some reason you don't like getting head, you freak.

Bladed razor, wet, no rituals, shaving to the opposite side of the way hair are growing for a cleaner shave.
I shave once in a week, sometimes more. I'm trying to grow a beard, but i don't have enough facial hair to do that..for now.

I had a machine, but it took forever and couldn't tahe any hair longer than half a centimeter, so i gave it to my dad who used it once, and threw it away

Regular razor, and almost dry. Just some warm water sometimes, and I'm good to go. Shavings a breeze, but I also have to shave every other day because my hair is super dark. So I've had to make it a breeze.

Cursed with coarse, coaaaarrrrsssee facial hair. Post shower (hot water softens skin and hair folicles), every 2 days (or 3-4 if I want the movie star stubble look for a day) with gel and a million bladed razor. Nivea post shave balm for smooth non irritated skin with a nice after-shave scent.

I myself use a standard bladed razor and I shave in the shower, so I guess you'd call that a wet shave.

I shave usually twice a week(I don't bother during breaks from college) with shaving cream and a blade(although it's technically electrical because it vibrates). I got some crazy-ass moisturising stuff for Christmas, so I end up moisturisng first, then shaving then moisturising again(because they're before and after moisturisers). Take a while, but boy do I feel good after it.

I'm far too lazy and cheap, so I just grab a cheap bladed razor, run it under the tap and start dragging it across my face for about a minute.
I occasionally use foam and that but usually its just a bother.

I shave pretty rarely, I let the hair grow as much as it will, then if there is ever a special occasion I shave it. I use a blade razor.
