I always like to walk with a undeserved strut, i've met more then one person that hates me before they met me because of that...

I usually walk quickly with hands in pockets if I have a coat or just slightly swing them. My walking's been said to be for its function only, with no style other than, "what efficiently gets me from point A to point B"

I used to walk with my arms directly by my sides at all times, it felt unnatural if I swayed them while walking, even slightly. Everyone thought it was mega weird.

Over time I made myself sway them a little back and forth while walking to the point where it feels pretty natural now. I know I shouldn't have cared but frankly, I do give a shit what people think of me, it's just the way I'm wired. So I didn't want to be labeled as "that guy who walks like a freak". So yeah, now I walk like a normal person. =P

However, I have noticed my left arm sways more than my right arm, while my right arm only sways a bit. I don't think people notice though.

Anyways I walk with quite long strides, I'm a fairly fast walker, unless I'm with someone in which case I slow down to their pace. I look straight ahead mostly unless the sun gets in my eyes then I look at the ground. I am a bit fidgety while walking and tend to keep adjusting my clothes, especially if it's hot and I'm sweating a bit, but I don't think it looks too awkward - I think overall I give an impression of confidence these days in my 'walking style' =P

I'm told i have an arrogant walk, probably because I have good posture. All upright and straight... maybe i do look kind of snooty sometimes, but i can't help it.

My dad says I walk like a black guy, I don't exactly carry myself but I don't slouch either. I don't really think about it to be honest, I just walk.

With a drunken stagger, because my knees are all fucked up. Also, unless I'm talking to someone, I'll have kind of a blank stare, and I don't move my arms much.

Quite fast and with long strides, back slightly drooped, looking everything around me (without actually seeing anything, though). Sometimes I give the impression that I know where I´m going, and that I´m going to be late.

Has anyone ever seen how a Velociraptor moves in Jurassic Park?
Hunched over, with your arms hanging forward and your tail stretched out for balance? You must be a killer with the ladies.

A little slouched, though I try not to. My steps are kind of clumpy these days since I've been wearing boots (it's snowy here) but when I wear shoes my steps aren't too noticeable. I'm silent on stairs, since I tend to walk on the edges of them. When I'm at work (at a very tight restaurant as a busboy) I walk quickly and am constantly turning about my heel or toe. That place is very cramped.

Lately I've been finding that brief explanations turn out to be not so brief explanations without me realizing it...

I walk tall. Straight back. Head up. With a meaningful pace. As if everyone around me are inferior. Especially if I have powerful music in my ears. I don't act that way though. I just like being tall. Also I wear big boots, steel toe caps and all. And black. I like wearing black (NOT emo, it's just a powerful colour.)

Somehow I knew someone was going to say that.

OT : Usually I walk sort of slouched, or with my head down. Its just out of habit since I have to look down to people to talk to them

Stride elegantly like a paladin, pft, I AM a paladin...

...Hmm...Okay too much Azeroth this week.

I got's hips, so one foot in front of the other, slight swing when I walk, I walk with purpose too... I don't believe in dilly dallying about. So yeah maybe the paladin analogy wasn't entirely accurate. Just with added awesome.

Sorry, I have to post this:
Other than that, I have nothing to say, but if I must contribute...

Do you stride elegantly like a Paladin or do you shamble like an undead?
Of the two? Undead. Used to drag my feet as well, but I got over that. I'm rather lazy in general.

In reality, I walk like a man who is trying to be graceful, but is awkward and uncertain in each of his steps.
I just wanted to talk about Velociraptors.

Well, my normal look is leather jacket and cowboy hat, slightly slouched, but overall pretty upright.

Arms swinging like I'm marching or else tucked deep in pockets. Big strides unless I'm majorly depressed. Head usually down, unless I'm tying to look mildly intimidating. I'm apparently also silent when I walk.
