How exactly does one gift wrap a Pineapple?

Ok, so I'm buying a pineapple as a christmas gift for my friend, and I want to make it look festive and presentable. How should I go about doing this?

Seriously though, a box sounds best for this situation, just make sure to put that packing paper in there to make sure it doesn't move around.

Nah, me and my friend were looking for a gift for the recipient, failed for about an hour, got exasperated, and eventually got a pinapple =D

Sadly I don't have a box that would really work for the pinapple, they're aither too small or obscenely big =P

Build their expectations with a huge box, then watch them be crushed when they see it's a pineapple, I'd do it (which is another reason not to do it).

Having received a pineapple as a gift, I don't recommend giving one. But then apparently the person knows what to do with one, so that's cool. I think a small basket with a bow around the base of the stem will work nicely.
