I very recently saw a thread asking what shoes is best for running and it got me thinking...
How far can some of the escapist members run?

I can usually run about 800-1000 meters without stopping.
[sub]Not very fast, just at a slow pace.
So, pretty much jogging.[/sub]

The two longest distances I've ever run in my life are 800m and 5km. I jogged/walked most of the 5km one, to be honest, since it was cross country, but I was okay with the 800m. I can run for quite a while, just not very fast. I'm much better at enduring long distances than I am at racing or anything like that.

Jogged with no stopping about 2km.

But that was a decently fast pace, and no breathers or slowing down.
Plus across VERY rocky terrain, and up/down hills a lot.

I can run rather far. If I'm jogging, I don't think I would have to stop until I have to eat or drink.

I took about 11 minutes and 17 seconds to run 3000 metres when I was in 10th grade.

I can do a 100 to 200 meter sprint if i have to, but everything beyond that i'll do walking in a quick pace, unless i want to end up wanting to be dead for a while.

I've never actually measured. In the gym (at school) they have us warm up by running around the gym for 3 minutes, and I usually make it around about 5 times.... So yeah.

I recently ran a half-marathon, circa 21 km (or 13 miles) in 2h 03min 12seconds. T'was an alright time I reckon :)

Beyond that, I could probably run further. I'm not in shape for a whole marathon yet, though. It'll come.

I can jog around a soccer field for about 2 hours if need be. Without a goal like "Get a soccer ball" though, I get tired really fast. I need that motivation to keep going, and it I get motivation, I'll go on for a long time.

I was on the cross country team when I was in high school which was 5k. The longest race I've done was 10 miles, so that was the furthest I ran without stopping. Sadly I shattered my right in a bike accident and can't do long distance running anymore. I can still cycle a pretty decent ways though.
