Day 569: I found another group of zombies today. It seemed as though they could sense my demon killing prowess. They accepted me into their horde.
Perhaps I can remain hidden for now by staying with them. At least until I can find my way out of this horrible place once and for all.

Day 571: I finally know how to do it. I will build an army of zombies and destroy the lord of darkness myself. My intelligence will allow me to organize the undead in ways that the fallen one will never be able to suspect.
Maybe I can recruit some of the other hellspawn as well. We will have to see.

Day 573: The demons seem to be the most effective new type of zombie from my experiments so far. They retain most of their speed and the ability to fly. However, they are also more difficult to convert than some of the other races.
I suspect that they'll be easier to make as I continue to get more though.

Day 575: Today I learned my powers go beyond those of a mere necromancer. I can harness both the powers of fire and shadow at my whim. I am uncertain of the full extent of these powers or how they shall fare against the damned. More testing will be necessary.

Day 577: These large sloth demons really do the trick. They're slow and can absorb a tremendous amount of damage. Very good for prolonged sessions of "practice." Even better when I can convert a few of them to my side.
Day 579: Found that convincing the sloth demons to plunge over cliffs to their inevitable fiery doom is far more entertaining than it should be.
Day 581: Seems as though my actions have not gone unnoticed. We came across a small scouting party. Surely they worked for the Prince of Darkness.

Day 583: Ah, the hellhounds. My scouting party came across a pack of them today. I had never previously considered how they would respond to zombification.
Turns out, they respond to it pretty well. And they are very loyal to boot. Looks like I have found a good front line striker for the inevitable battle.

Day 585: Turns out they aren't. A small detachment of fallen angels attacked with untold ferocity today. We were able to kill them, but the bastards wiped out a large number of my shamblers.
I need to retreat and rethink this strategy. There has to be a better way to go about this.
