Jesus. I think it would be really cool if the plural of Jesus was Jesii. It's like Yoda and the Jesus had a baby.
No one else noticed this? Wow. It pretty much ended the thread for me as I basically died laughing.

And now I have the mental image of a Jesus-yoda baby...
I don't know if thats disturbing, or the most awesome thing ever.

Yeti, mice, moose, mongeese, samurai, ninja, penises, platypi.

There.
Would everyone please just read this post and go home.

(p.s. Penises is often referred to in the Latin plural form by doctors. The Latin plural is penes.)

The plural of penis always was an odd thought to me.....penii?
Probably just Yeti as in "Look at all those bloodthirst Yeti that are about to eat, digest, and shit out us."

As for the Plural of penis, anytime it's been brought up on a TV show they said penises, so lets go with that.

Just for information's sake, the correct plural of octopus is octapode. That is all.

Yeti - yeti. Ninja - Ninja. Octopus - Octopi. Penis - Wangs. Ox - Oxen. Moose - Moosen. OK, so that last one is BS. Also, Die - Dice. Datum - Data.

penis, mongoose(mongeese?), platapus (platapi?)
Platapi is my favouritist word ever.

And I think the plural of Yeti is Yeti.

The plural of dice still confuses me. Dices? Dici? Doose?

Edit: I retract my question, I have now been educated.
plural of dice is dice

Is the plural of fatman (as in the launcher in Fallout) fatmans or fatmen. The latter sounds daft, but the former sounds kinda wrong.

If you want to be absolutely 100% correct the plural form of penis is penes or simply penis in the Latin language. But you can also say penises, all three of them are gramatically correct.

Apparently it's not. I was once told I was stupid for saying that. I'm told it's penises.

I was going to write something very similar. It is astonishing how many of these people claim to be interested in these things and fail to open a dictionary. Hint: IT IS ALL IN THERE.
They just want to talk.

Yeti. Penises. Mongoose (as with fish, sheep and so on). Octopuses (Latin "i/ae" change doesn't work, since the word is Greek in origin.), too. Platypuses, too, by the same rule.

Don't expect rules to work for everything, though. English hasn't even been phoenetic since about the 14th century. As proved by the word "phoenetic", not to mention Loughborough or Worcestershire.
