I think the original F.E.A.R. is a severely underrated masterpiece, and the sequel was a complete waste of time (slightly shinier graphics, but not a narrative in sight). After that, I gave the finger the to the series and didn't even consider buying the thid installment.
If I find it for about £1.99 in the bargain bin - thus ensuring not a single penny goes to encouraging the producers intent on f'ing up the IP - then I might give it a shot. Perhaps. One day. Probably not.
