Ritsu from K-ON!, the AG-SYS logo from Wipeout, some twirly grass and vines from Uzumaki (not sure about that one) and right now the Persona 3 protagonist (by way of hiimdaisy's comic).

The restrictions have a way of making even the most well-cropped pictures look ugly.

I don't know. Three, maybe four. The other three besides this one have all been just various pictures of the Frozen Donkey Wheel from LOST, though. Then one day, I randomly thought to myself, "You know what might make a good avatar? Richard Nixon. Just because."

I think I might tweak it slightly now.

Yep! I changed my avatar and my username at 1000 posts.

I should do that when I hit 5000 posts. Change my username and avatar to thing completely unrelated. Ok, that is a lie I would only change my avatar. I like the username too much. How did you manage to change your name?

On forums I generally pick one I think is acceptable and stick with it forever. I don't care about them much but I hate having the default undetailed face or standard avatar.

There is an option in your profile/account options that allow for a 1 time only permanent name change. I used mine to change my user name to my real name.

O yeah, fuck that then. I have been using this name for 5-6 years and no way in hell I am giving it up. I may consider changing the avatar though. I wonder how many people it will confuse.

With the exception of variations on my avatars, for things such as summer vacation and the Escapist's birthday, I've had 5 different avatars.
They were:
- An image of myself wearing my dust-mask, photoshopped to make me look like the Starcraft goliath portrait.
The rest have been digital paintings I've done.

Two were of Saren (Mass Effect) and then my current one, Inquisitor Andrastia from DoW2 Retribution. I don't plan on changing mine for a while at least.
