How many of you outside of the UK actually want to see the royal wedding?

Would they care if I got married? No. So, even though I live in the UK, I don't give the tiniest little shit.

Also, I'm not invited.
Very annoying, I agree. It would be so much less fun imagining Kate Middleton riding off into the sunset naked on a stolen horse, strangling William and assaulting guards with flowers, if she'd extended me an invite beforehand.

Wait... let me read that again...

No it wouldn't!

Not me. At the moment, I'm more hyped about that Avenged Sevenfold is coming to my city, and that, pretty soon, I think I might be able to switch roleplaying groups and stop playing Eon all damn sunday and instead play Dark Heresy all damn sunday.

Yes, I'm a massive nerd.

If the wedding included every last royal present (Especially our own) got put to the guillotine to the merry tune of the Marseillaise I would be watching it, recording it and buying as much merchandise as I could find.

As it is, I'm not going to watch it.

Also I'm from Denmark.

TV channels have been buying up the rights to report and show live feed of the royal wedding here like no tomorrow, especially over in America, so here's a question, how many of you will be watching it?

Heck, how many of you right here in the UK are watching it?
Not even close to interested in anything that has to do with the royal family. (Canadian not in the UK.)

A couple is going to mary. Big deal. Never paid attention to the whole king/queen stuff, even though we (The Netherlands) also have a queen.

Could NOT care less. Pet peeve of mine.
High five for proper english.

Anyways, as an American citizen, I genuinely have no clue why I'm supposed to give a damn about this.

I remember hearing somewhere that "Americans love royal weddings". Why? Hell, other than TV, I don't think I've heard a SINGLE person even MENTION the wedding.

I look at this like I look at celebrity weddings, they can go do whatever the hell they like, but I'm not going to care either way.

On behalf of all Americans: why are we supposed to care... didn't we fight a couple of wars for independence 'cos they treated us like shit?!

Granted two and a half centuries have improved relations, but hang on, if things get all buddy-buddy (as they apparently are), who knows, Harry might get it into William's head that the new British slogan should be hijacked from the Tea Party: Claiming Back America.

Also: who has two thumbs and doesn't give a crap? (this Brit I might add)

Seriously though, no TV, so gaming all day, isn't that what Escapists should do on a bank holiday... or Friday?

Well I will. But then again, I seem to be one of the few people that actually like my own country and monarchy.
