I have been playing video games for about 23 years. My first console was the Sega Master System, though I had played on the NES, Atari 2600 and Intellivision/Colecovision at friends houses before that.

The first game I actually "finished" was Casino Games on the Sega - you win by earning $1,000,000 and therefore breaking the bank. Since I don't really feel like that counts, I'll go ahead and mention that I finished Alex Kidd in Miracle World, the game that was built into the Sega Master System.

The last game I finished was... uh... Portal 2? Since then I've restarted Fallout New Vegas because my savegame was all jacked up, and just this week I started playing Crysis 2 though I've been playing more multiplyer... more than I expected I would really.

I've been playing since I was eight or so. About twelve years I guess.

First game I ever beat, I think it was Pokémon Red.

Most recent game I beat was Golden Sun, the first one.

1. I've been gaming for 27 years, since I was 4 - I'll let you work out my age :p

2. The first game I ever finished was either Midnight Resistance for the Spectrum 128k or Aliens in the arcades (produced by Konami). Back when I started playing, it was uncommon for games to actually have endings. The motivation to play was score and the sheer enjoyment of it all.

3. The last game I finished was Splinter Cell: Conviction (about to finish Dragon Age 2).

Far too long it seems. I've been gaming since the first games were available, along with the first computers that were available to the public. The earliest game I can remember is either Pong or the origional Apple version of Asteroids.

I've been gaming since I was three. My earliest memories are of playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES. So I've been playing games for sixteen, going on seventeen, years. I don't really remember what the first game I finished was, they all sort of run together...The last one I beat was Ocarina of Time: Master Quest, without any walkthroughs or hints or the like. Before that was Portal 2.

Holy crapola!

1. Vector graphics hm... I been gaming for twenty-five, I was fresh back in the days of "Press play on tape" (C64) and "blow me" (NES)... yeah, I been at it quite a while.

2. First game I can recall ever beating? Must Have been Mega Man... I can still remember the adrenalin rush I got from beating Dr. Wily... man that was intense.

3. Latest game I beat the crap out of? Hmm... must have been Persona 3 FES on the PS2.

That is all...

If you actually read all the pages of this thread please sound off.

I mean I guess it's kinda interesting if I knew the community better, but this question merely boils down to a number between 1 and 50 and although 40+ might be pretty interesting I'm too lazy to read through it all to think: Hey that bastards been gaming for twice as long as I've been alive.

When I was three I went to a babysitter's house. There were three other guys who hung out there and played games. I watched them play Sonic 2 and Super Mario 64 and instantly fell in love with the whole thing.

I'm 18 now and I got my first SNES when I was like 4, so I guess 14 years.

a) 10 years, which pales in comparison to some.
b) Crash Bandicoot: Warped
c) Halo: Reach. So many on my to finish list, so little time. That includes replaying Reach on Legendary.

I was around 3-4 playing snake and frogger on MSDOS, but I never really completed those games.. I'm 24 now, so that makes it 20 years plus..

First game to complete was Price of Persia, but we used cheat codes.. So I guess it doesn't count..

First I completed legit.. Dang.. I think we have to go as recent as Red Alert 2... That somehow makes me feel young..

Last game I completed was Mount & Blade: Warband to the extent that you can complete the game (it doesn't have an actual goal). Had an awesome character, awesome companions, an awesome army, a ton of cash and the faction I supported owns every single bit of land.. So yeah.. I guess I completed it : )

I play a lot of games, but many times I don't finish it, or play games that you cant really finish.. Like.. Counter Strike..
