How often do you change your avatar?

I started using this image of Azrael, the angel of death, back in 2008 on the MMORPG.com boards. Being rather fond of the symbolism, I kept it when they shut down the R&P section and I "migrated" here.
So yeah, not all that often.

I changed mine only about 3 times. Before my current one (The Album Cover for an Album I've been working on for a while), was a Spy-like Character from an Escapist Film Contest I entered. Before that, it was a Box with a smiling face. And Before that... I don't think I had one before that.
Sadly, I don't have any of those old pics anymore, but I could redraw them so everyone can at least guess what I had.

I've changed my avatar once. It used to be Phoenix Wright with a coffee grenade dangling from his face.
Now, as you can see, my avatar is Lilly Satou. Why? Because she's amazing, that's why!

I think this is my second avatar on this site. I was inspired by 2X Double.
In general, I tend to stick with an avatar once I choose it, at least for a while. I would say I average a change a year or something like that, maybe less.

Rarely, these days. I'm invisible enough on these forums without me switching faces every ten minutes.
I have never changed my avatar here, and I rarely change my avatar on anything else.

Going on 5 months now and I've only switched avatars once.
Fun/weird idea, lets all switch our avatars to that of the poster above us. I switch mine to a picture of Counter Troll, Sarge034 gets Calvin, Regnes gets Joshua, and the poster below me gets Kool Aid man.
It's just an idea.

I've changed it once or twice since joining,.....and each one of them incorporates rainbow vomit and they always will.
I've stayed with the same avatar here since I joined. I've been toying with the idea of changing it, but one of the reasons I'm kind of against the idea is because I like to think that people recognize me for it, but that's a wild dream I'm chasing.
I don't change my avatar often, but when I do, it must have the swag-tagonist from Persona 4 in it. He's kinda my symbol here.
Both are equally epic.
