How often do you change your avatar?

My avatar is me, Solaire. Just look at that sunny and shiny armor!

...Ok, more out of character, I used to change my avatar a good bit because my username was different. Then I played Dark Souls and I liked Solaire as a character enough to use his full title and whatnot as my username.

Now, because of that, I feel bound to the avatar I've had since the change. Not sure if or when I'll ever change it again.

When it's this one - almost never, and I have this avatar a lot of places. When it's something else, maybe every 2-3 months or so.

OT: I don't change mine very often, I think I've had 4, including this one. Maybe I'll find a new avatar.

I change mine about once every two weeks. I haven't really ever got a bad response from one of my avatars but I always try to have amusing avatars. Once I learned how to make a gif I've gone down the road of making myself many avatars.

Uhm maybe 3 times?

Started at Gerard Casphen from Magic the Gathering.
Then went to Guts from BERSERK. (That changed when genre wars started and a couple march madness, but that doesn't count)

And finally to the Brand of the Sacrificed from BERSERK. And then when MM hit i changed it to here.

I had the Gray Fox when I started up here and about a month or two ago I changed to this (Anon logo with the text replaced with the Latin word for known).

As far as other sites are concerned... I used to have the Duke of Wellington for an avatar since I was so into the Total War games online but now I have a fork because it sorta matches my username (same as this site).

Since [user]Sleekgiant[/user] made my avatar I haven't switched it up. I don't count seasonal variations.

Anyway it would look bad as the founder of this group [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Immutable-Individuals] if I changed it.

Bad thing. In this one's opinion, you're pretty fun.

OT: Haven't changed my avatar yet, and don't really plan to. Hopefully people attach something good to my name and face - if not, then c'est la vie.

I've changed my avatar twice. The first avatar was a creeper being hugged but i didnt feel it represented me well enough. I now have a Tribes ascend beta class symbol for the Jumper. I dont think I will change it again for a while.

This is the first and probably only avatar I'll be using on this site. It was drawn for me by someone on another website and I wanted to use it somewhere, so I decided to use it here. It's inoffensive and looks nice so I see no reason to change it. Usually, unless the website has some kind of in built avatar creation system, I stick to the one.

With or without this avatar I don't expect anyone to recognise me. xD
